    Obama visit

We were lucky to be in this place during the visit of Obama to the Fire Department in 8th Ave. I was not allowed to leave and the restaurant was garded wih policeman. The service during this "prison" was great and the food tasty, also the drinks. We came back a few times for breakfast which was very good!! Personel if you read this: thanks again!!

    Fantastic!

Went to Carve on Saturday with 3 friends and we all were very pleased. The food was delicious and we were shocked at the low prices. We will definitely be back!

    Delicious pizza and more

To the authors of the past reviews: Wow...what is wrong with you? Yes, the staff could be better as far as their demenor, attitude, and lack of warmth, but since when has New York had the warmest service? Rarely do you find someone dripping with kindness and concern...that aside the food had ALWAYS been very good! These reviews almost appear to be competitors trying to give Carve a bad name. To those of you wondering if you should try Carve, I say...go there order a slice of Pizza, maybe a salad or a fresh sandwich, eat it there while the Pizza is Hot and crisp(if you can grab a seat), and you'll agree with the fact that Carve is deliciously good!!

    Yuck

It's pretty bad when your "unique" sandwich is worse than a basic Subway ham&cheese. (And twice as expensive.) I had the New Cobb Sandwich, and it was mostly flavorless, except for a strange slimy aftertaste. Skip this place and walk another block to 9th Ave, where you can find some real food.

Not the best delivery service ever!

The food is decent and cheap but they have the worst delivery service. Their delivery people get lost and don't bother to tell you that. Sometimes, the food just doesn't show up. The owner gave me a refund but he flat out told me that he did not care that he had lost my business and my best friend's business. This is the worst delivery experience I have ever had.

    don't crave carve

I second the user who commented on the poor meat quality. The breaded chicken can sometimes be dark meat, which is just awful. Carve does have reasonably priced basic sandwiches, all hand made that come with a free bag of potato chips, for just 5.95. Really not a bad deal for the times square area. I'm guilty though, because I'm writing a rather bad review, however, I tend to eat there a couple times a month. Go figure!

    inhospitable service

We were part of the theater crowd. Service was disappointing, the guy serving us obviously just didn't want to be there. Pizza was OK, sandwich so-so. They need to train their staff or they'll go out of business.
