Prices keep going up.....?
The food here is average at best for a diner. Decent burgers, sandwiches, etc. Fries are relatively well-done too. However, the reviewers who thought the prices were expensive in 2008 and 2009 would be surprised to see that the prices are even higher now. I have stopped going out of principal (which is a shame as I live right next to the diner) as I feel that if I'm going to spend this much money on a meal, I can get MUCH better quality at several places nearby.

Best Bacon Cheeseburger, Quick Delivery
24 hour diner with possibly the best bacon cheeseburger I've ever had. Also a great 24 hour breakfast menu. Delivery is always quick. Love this place.

Afterthought Salad
The cobb salad I ordered had too many ingredients, several of which were not listed on the menu. It had cucumber, green pepper, corn, vidalia onions, a whole green onion, olives, jalepenos, carrot shavings, tomatoes, bacon, avocado, chicken, and generic mesclun mixed greens. I get that a cobb is a mix of things, but this was ridiculous. The bacon, avocado, and blue cheese dressing (more like blue cheese water) were not nearly as flavorful as one would expect. And I had to fish out chunks of what amounted to nearly 1/2 a small cucumber. I don't really know what the corn was doing in the salad, but it was a listed ingredient, so I cannot really complain. The chicken was the only thing done well. It was moist and well seasoned.

subpar diner food at bistro prices
this place is ridiculously overpriced, and the food is mediocre at best. I had fried eggs (that had little flavor) and hash browns, which were just ok. I'd rather have a meal anywhere else in this neighborhood where I'm going to get a quality meal if I'm paying this much money. I imagine the only reason this place is still in business is because it's open 24 hours.

Total regret
I have eaten here on several occasions onkly out of neccessity. This is one of the only places that devliver late in Carroll Gardens. The food was horrible, what is worse is that we were drunk when we ordered. I have eaten at some questionable diners drunk and had good eating experiences but this place by far is the worst. We ordered simple burgers and fries and the buns were stale the fries soggy, the only thing barely edible was a milk shake. This neighborhood needs another late night eatery that can deliver

Egg-regiously Overpriced
The prices of the majority of the menu are outrageous (like it's sister The New St. Clair down the street). Standard diner apps like mozzarella sticks should be $5. Here they're almost $9. You can get a bagel with lox at a bagel shop for $7. Here it's almost $10. You can't even eat a salad here with out dropping over $10. One of the reasons may be the portions, which are gigantic. I'd rather have half the food at half the price. Order the cheap stuff (burger, some sandwiches, dessert -- but no appetizers) and you'll be ok. And the Greek Lemon Soup (weekends only) is liquid heaven.

Pre and Post Hangover Food
Dude, the burgers are not the best. But you combine the so-so burger w/ some extra crispy fries and you have yourself a hangover not waiting to happen. As Rachel Ray would say "Deee-lish". Oh yeah, only 24 delivery place in this hood.
