    Carmines is Awsome

The food is unbelievable. You get so much food for a good price. I go there all the time and would highly recomend it to whoever wants a good Italian Meal.

    Good food good place

I planned a family reunion in New York. I had eaten at Carmine's before so decided to bring my 7 grandchildren, three daughters and their husbands to this place. No mistake!!! There was something on the menu for everyone. The porterhouse, salmon and spaghetti - all fabulous. Appetizers were well prepared, presented and served. Everyone wants to go back. As someone alse stated - make reservations and request upstairs.

Never had a bad meal here

I have been to Carmine's easily over 250 times, between the Upper West Side and Midtown branches. I have never had a bad meal, never been treated rudely, the bread has always arrived fresh and hot, and the waiters treat you with respect. Even the house wine is very good. For the food you get and the size of the drinks they give you, it is always a great meal.

    Great for Family!

The Restaurant is truly family style!! I have been to Carmine's a few times, and have loved the food every time! Penne alla Vodka and the Lemon Chicken are absolutely amazing. Best part....you can share the food (one dish is good for about 3-4 people). The restaurant is a little noisy on the first floor, but the second floor is much quieter, so request seating there! :)

    If you like garlic...

there's a good chance you'll like Carmine's. Yes, it is a touristy, Times Square restaurant. They have expanded, so the waits aren't as long now. But it's still better to go early, late or for lunch. Family style (big portions). I recommend the roasted red peppers & fresh mozzarella appetizer (comes with anchovies, you can order without). The meatballs are pretty good - not spicy. The rigatoni in garlic & olive oil with broccoli is a nice pasta. I've never had their meat main dishes or their desserts. Carmine's isn't the best Italian I've ever had, but it sure beats 95% of the places in Little Italy, and I think it's the best in the Theatre District.

    Simply the best

Carmine's without doubt is one of the most fun places to eat in the city. The portions are huge and delicious. The prices are very reasonable and I alway feel at home there. They are the best!

Cute waiters and Tons of Calamari

This Italian bistro was a nice retreat after the show!
