    the real freakin' deal

seriously, this place nails it. you gotta make sure they make the slices hot enough, ideally eat them on the spot because they lose a little bit even in the box for a short time, but they come right back to life in the oven and crisp the bottoms. my favorite slice currently is the spinach ricotta round slice...it has really good italian tomatoes, big chunks of it (i love chunky sauce) and tons of sauteed spinach and big blobs of white salted ricotta. it's like a spinach roll and wet saucy slice of pizza all at once and if you stick it in the oven and crisp the bottom good it will hold up to all the toppings (its kind of heavy) but is it good. get it. seriously. it's like a 3.75 slice but you wont be sorry!

    Pizza Pizzaz

I haven't gotten past their personal pizzas and meatball parm heroes. Their pesto slices are amazing, as is every kind that i've tried. I get Carmine's delivered more than any other restaurant, and i never get sick of it.

    great pizza

This is the best pizza we've ever had...they load the toppings and 1-2 pieces fill you up! Every time we get it delivered, which is usually at least a few times a month, it's fast, hot and filling! Don't listen to the bad reviews...yes, the inside is fast and not super-friendly, but the pizza all but makes up for it!

    what?

Just one thing to say.... Dry brown rice + 4 shrimp DOES NOT equal Seafood Risotto. Especially not when the price for the dish is $14. In addition to which it was completely unseasoned....

    Not a good experience

I ordered the eggplant parm for delivery and they said I should pick it up since it would take at least 45 minutes. This was in the middle of the week. The prices listed online are not the actual prices and the guy couldn't even look me in the eye when I mentioned that. He didn't give me the price as listed. The parm was full of seeds in every bite.

    5* for eat-in, 1* for delivery

Carmine's has some of the best slices I've ever had in the city . . . when you get it fresh, at the counter. Usually pizza is better when you order a whole pie than when you just get a slice that may have been sitting on the counter forever and reheated, but for some reason, the pizza we had delivered was really disappointing. It took forever and was not nearly as good as in the restaurant.

    i'm addicted!

i have been ordering the eggplant parm with linguine about three times a week because it's THAT good. most other pizza places don't give a whit about their pasta dishes but carmine's does - everything is delicious and flavorful. also i recommend the stuffed mushrooms (prepare to share them as they are a bit heavy) and the potato croquettes (don't share these because you're greedy). i've never dined here, just ordered, but i can't think of a better place to get a good eggplant parm over pasta. definitely recommend!
