    Consistantly delicious

Believe us when we tell you a dish is enough for three people! Great to go as a group, and order say 3 dishes for 6 people or 4 for 8. You'll still have enough for take-out! As a group, we love to share a caesar or a house salad to start, and order a couple of dishes for the main course. The salads are both de-li-cious and wonderfully dressed. They also have one of the best penne a la vodka in NY -although a bit too spicy lately. Everything is wonderful, it's hard to be disappointed. Lots of birthday parties there, be prepared to hear the song a few times every time!

The best meal we had in NYC!

What can I say...the drinks (frozen cosmopolitan) were excellent. the bread with cold pasta sauce was great and the calamari was THE BEST! The service was superb and we loved the atmosphere. You have to get the tarimisu! It is a little pricey but you get so much for your money!

    Typically Italian

Food - salad is exceptional, the rest is okay but warehousey. Looks like they cook in caldrons. Service - entertaining. Value - average. Atmosphere - loud, bustling, warm, good place to observe as it is too loud to talk.

    So Worth it....

No matter how many times my friends, family and I have to Carmine's the experience is never a negative one. The food, the service, the quality always flawless! Recommended: Ceaser Salad, Chicken Scarpiello, Chicken Marsala over Rigatoni, and the Titanic of course! Enjoy!

    I love this place

So good. I always order the same thing: cheese ravioli in meat sauce, and I have it delivered. They give huge portions, of course. The sauce has big pieces of basil, and the softest pieces of beef. Wonderful. The food reminds of the cooking of an old ex-boyfriend's mother. They were, of course, Italian. Excellent homemade sauce, abundant quantities of food. This is what Italian is supposed to be!

    Great Experience

My husband I and were recommended to Carmine's by several of my family memebers, so we made the trek from the Hudson Valley to see a Yankees game, then decided to eat at Carmine's before catching the train home. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food was delicious, service as swift and courteous, portions were very large, and the atmosphere was cozy and friendly.

    Superb

One of the best dining restaurants in NYC. Don't miss this eating experience. Loved everything about the place. Looking forward to my next time being there.
