vegan dining
these other people don't know what they are talking about. the service is great. the waiters and waitresses have lots of patients for us customers. the place could be very busy and they still find time to talk to you. they also come around and ask if everything is okay. the food is awesome , price is fare, and service is great.

horribly uneducated
these people have no clue what they are talking about. the raw food entrees and appetizers are actually in fact not raw or live. i inquired about how their food is prepared and the hostess AND chef at first had no clue whether or not the raisins were dehydrated or dried. then the hostess told me that they were dried and it was indeed raw. i had to correct her and tell her, no if they were dehydrated then it would be raw, but since you said they came out of a box they are clearly not. the thing is that i'm willing to pay their over priced prices, however not anymore since it turns out their food is not really raw. instead it is bland and tasteless. have eaten there a handful of times, and each time less and less memorable.

Service Poor, food mediocre, overpriced
Went to this restaurant with a friend and grabbed an outside table on an early evening. First, it took a long while to clean off the table, then to bring water and menus. Then no one came to take our order. I had to go inside to ask someone to take our order. One dish out of 3 was decent, the others tasteless and overpriced. The we couldn't get a check. I had to repeatedly ask for a check and when I finally got it it was wrong. An item we had removed was still there. I won't be going back.

Service is Not Good
We are regulars at this restaurant and find the food quite good, but the service lacking, and we are seriously thinking of not going back anymore due to the total lack of efficiency and virtual disregard of staff towards customers. The blonde "hostess" and we have no other way to define her is anything but helpful. She behaves like a true ditz. That should not be her job. We have walked in on a few occasions only to be greeted by this scenario: We patiently wait to be seated while the blonde hostess exercises her jowls, conversing with the staff, no doubt illuminating them on the latest culinary delicacies that they should be devising in order to make the restaurant on the whole a more delightful place. While she transforms the culinary world, guests are made to wait, treated like invisible fodder on a vast vanishing plate. One time, this pithy, aspiring hostess informed us after we had ordered take-out that it would be best NOT to sit and eat it in the premises, even though, even as we were speaking and she delivering her edict, single diners were walking in, seating themselves, ordering food and being served. This is a restaurant where it appears every customer is treated as a member of a unique class. Some are best friends and get the best treatment. Others are left to their own devices. And others, we have seen, sometimes only get some of what they ordered, because somewhere in the midst of the dinner, the waiters determine to lose interest in the task at hand. The last few times the wait to be seated was inordinate- it was an uncrowded restaurant. This reflects just poor organization and lack of care on the part of the staff. These qualities in service personnel are not enticing. They do not make for a good restaurant or satisfied customers. It is something that needs to be addressed and amended pronto.

Wildly Overpriced
Caravan of dreams is in the same price range as high end veg establishments in the city. Makes no sense to me, as both the food and decor are nowhere near the better places. Service is friendly though. Will not be back.

A Raw Foodist's Delight!
I was determined to go to a raw food restaurant while I was visiting my daughter and son-in-law last September. This was my first and, so far, only experience eating where I could actually sit down and order from a menu since I have been eating only raw food. I posted a page about it on my web site but I can't put the address here because it would violate the policy. If you can make your way to reallyrawfood and look at the pages, you will find it. It's complete with pictures. I had the time of my life. You do have to be forewarned that the combinations aren't the best so be prepared to suffer the consequences if you aren't used to eating that way. I woke in the night with the feeling of a brick in my stomach. The food tasted very good, though, and I don't regret my visit in the least. I'd go back.
