good when they let you order
It's almost as if they don't want to do any business! One day I'll try to call for lunch and they are only delivering after 3pm. Another night I try to order for dinner and they stop delivering at 9pm. And just trying to get through there labrynthine phone system that takes multiple tries let alone getting to place an order. Tonight was the last straw when after finally placing an order I was called back because they had to cancel my order. Their new delivery guy didn't know how to get here. I wonder how does this place stay in business? I love arepas and will order again. But guys you need to get it together!!

Great taste, great price!
I love to eat, love to cook, this place rocks. Went with 1 other friend, split everything: Ordered Ensalada Mixta, A8 - De Pabellón, A5 - La Pelúa, for drinks: Cocada & Camburada - we each paid about $20 had a fabulous time, fabulous value for great flavors! For earlier reviewers comments...I cannot imagine needing to eat 5 of these without exploding!!!!

great!
Food, Delicious. Atmosphere, Cozy. Value, Great. Service, Phenomenal! We were at first concerned because we thought that it would be too tight with a very busy 18 month old. The food came quickly and the servers were more than accommodating so we were actually able to sit and enjoy a lovely meal! We will go again and again.

Good but you can do better yourself
The arepas are like smallish I usually buy two to fill me up, it can be a bit much at like 16 for two basic ones but its way cheaper to make! and if you live in Williamsburg all of the ingredients are at the supermarket on Havemeyer I made the secret sauce at home its pretty close cilantro, parsley, e.v olive oil, cup vinegar, yellow peppers, mango

Delish!
This place is honestly amazing! I have been wanting to try it since it was on Bobby Flay Throwdown and finally did...and I was NOT disappointed at all. The service was so nice about the wait, and kept updating us on how much longer without us having to even ask. Then the food was absolutely delicious! I was there with two friends and all three of our arepas were incredible...and the two appetizers and desserts were also wonderful. Definitely going back and highly recommend!

Have to try once
Absolutely worth trying at least once. Great location and great food. For the person that said that they had to eat $60 worth of $6 arepas to get full that is rediculous. I am pretty much full off of one, so there is no way that you and your boyfriend ate 5 each! People dont be deterred.....try it.

One of the best in NYC
I cant believe anyone would say this place is just ok. Me and everyone I know LOVES this place. I have been eating here for years and its easily one of the best restaurants in the city. All of the arepas are delicious, never had one I didnt like, and everyone who I take here loves it (foodies included). The Yoyo appetizer is a favorite, and the arepa specials are always great - I usually just order whatever the special is. Dessert isn't worth it so don't save room. You only need 1 arepa and they are so cheap! Atmosphere is cramped and there is always a wait but it's absolutely worth it.
