a magical evening
We had a wonderful time. don't miss the souffle. Who makes souffle's any more? They were coming out of the kitchen faster than the cookie factory on I Love Lucy...

Not recommended
We came here for dinner on a Friday night at 10 PMand we were craving higher end French food. I had been here once for brunch three years ago and remembered it being fine. Michelin recommends this place and Zagat gives it consistent 23-24 for the food. The food was disappointing. Borderline inedible. I ordered my $39 steak au poivre medium rare. When it came it looked like it had been cooked to that temperature but then left on a hot plate to keep warm for a couple hours. The vegetables with it seemed like they were from the frozen department at the supermarket. The french fries were for the freezer too. They looked more like mozzarella sticks from a dinner. All three of us were very disappointed. The raspberry souffle was disappointing too. Then the bill came for $215. It really felt like getting robbed. I literally wish I could erase ever going here for dinner from my mind.

Really Wonderful!
I haven't been here in years but always loved it. Went back this Sunday to celebrate my birthday and I was very glad I did. The service, the food, the smell of the fresh flowers when you walk in...it was the perfect way to celebrate! I hope to return again very soon.

Taste of home.
We came here after reading a review in zagat and michelin... and they were right on with description. IMO, the food was very good, with a hint of 'interesting.' What I mean by interesting, is that you either like the flavor or you dont. Read the menu, and the description (ask the waiter for advice). If you order duck, it tastes like duck(in the good way), order blueberry crepes you taste the blueberries (not oversugary preserves). Desserts are amazing. We came here not reading about the soufle, and with out a doubt, is the best I ever had. (again 'interesting', i like soufle, wife likes caremelized apple tart, when we tried the other, we didnt like it). The wine list and suggested glasses are excellent. Service was perfect. Ingrediant quality was very good and fresh. I may be a bit harsh with food comments, as this is a review, but in all, I will be back.

Keep Going Back For More!
I love this place! I have sent so many people there to experience the great meals I have had over the past few years and they have all come back with exceptional reviews as well. Definitely go for the hazelnut souffle, its amazing! The escargot are to die for and the wine list is outstanding. The ambience is great. Try and get a seat outside if its not too cold as the sunset is beautiful from the porch. I am always very satisfied after a meal here.

Always happy here
I've been dining at Capsouto for maybe 10 years and have always been overly happy with both the service and the food. Seriously after 10 years, I don't have a single complaint and always look forward to the next time I will be back. Chocolate souffle with vanilla sauce almost every time! Yum.
