Great pasta.
I dined here solo. What a nice little place. Service was excellent. Pasta was very good and so was the tiramsu. Everything was very fresh. Yes, it's a tiny cafe. Not for those who require wide open spaces to be comfortable. I found it to be cozy.

Great food
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Came in town from Montana and had this little hole in the wall recommeneded by local New Yorkers. I was greatly impressed. I called in a order and it was ready by the time i walked around the corner. Very great place and excellent food.

Very Very Very Good.
Capri is wonderful - terrific food, great value and lovely staff. Their space, however, is TINY! When it's not busy, the ambiance is fine - however, at prime-lunch time, it can be a nightmare.

Best lunch downtown!
My co-worker and I eat there and/or take out from there at least once or twice a week. Their daily soup and salad special is a great bargain. The ingredients used are very fresh, and the food is prepared to order. I almost always get their homemade mozzerella cheese thrown on top of my salad, and their roasted beets are amazing. Their pasta specials are also wonderful. Try their eggplant balls and eggplant rollatini. Very friendly staff!

Great things come in Small Packages
This hole in the wall on Church St serves up some of the most authentic and homemade italian pasta dishes I have had in a while. You really can't go wrong. Where italian places all over the city overprice their dishes, Cafe Capri serves up large portions, even at lunch and for less than $13 for dinner (same dish is $9 at lunch). It is a really small place, but you get great attention and the food is great. Don't go there on a date because you will be too busy enjoying your food to have a conversation. I will definitely be back and will eat everything on the menu.

Delicious pasta, very small
Good food, very small space, only a few tables. Had veal ravioli and wine. Friend had chewy al dente pasta and wine. Artichoke soup not so tasty - tastes like muddy water. Small portions. Bread came without butter or oil. Long wait to prepare. Would go back. Cash only!
