best bar food in the neighborhood
I have been here a few times and I am so happy to have this bar in the neighborhood. First of all they have a ton of tv's and will play any game for you that you want to watch...they have even set me up in the back room to watch the rangers game with sound!! the food is great too!!...there is a great lunch deal for burgers which are delic! and I can't get enough of the cheese fries...they are addiciting! the chicken fingers are the best of any local sports bars and the tacos are another fav! the waitresses are all super nice and always there when you need a fresh drink. this is my new go to neighborhood spot and I look forward to baseball season there next! thx Canz!

Poor way to start!
Living in the city, it is always fun to try out new restaurants! With Canz a citi opening up in my neighborhood, I felt it would be a great add to the restaurant scene in Murray Hill. Boy, was I quite disappointed! I decided to order on a weekday and pick up as they do not deliver. The person who picked up the phone said it would only take 20minutes. Quite fair for take out. I arrive at the restaurant after 20minutes and food was not ready. Ok, maybe I was early! I look around and amazed at all the tv screens and all. Not a lot of people. Only people waiting on food. I figure they weren't waiting long. After half hour and then 45minutes, the people ahead of me getting more and more irritated. People coming in behind me to pick up as well waiting. I am a very patient person but after about an hour I was getting irritated myself. Orders ahead of me slowly came out. Incomplete at that! Oh, did i forget to mention, upon arriving, they were quick to take my money! And speaking to others ahead, they did the same!! So leaving without food was not an option as it was already paid for! An hour and 15 mintes later food arrives and law and behold another incomplete order! Staff kept blaming the kitchen. Maybe there was only one person back there?! Another 30minutes later the final item comes. Expecting something way fabulous for all the wait, to taste mediocre at best food!! Really, really, really disappointing way to start!
