Amazing UWS Dumplings!
Canteen 82 has amazing dumplings! The vegetables are fresh in all of their dishes. If you haven't tried this place, you should! Also - they have a wonderful back room for parties. The service is superb! I'm so glad this restaurant exists on the UWS!

Canteen is Fantastic
Seriously good dumplings that make your taste buds tingle with glee. I have not had one bad dish, let alone, experience ordering from or going to this superb UWS restaurant. If you're an Upper West Sider, I simply do not see a better option for Chinese. A+

Best food on the planet
Pork dumplings to die for. What a find! No one in NYC (that I've ever found) is this exceptionally good at every aspect. Food, presentation, atmosphere....a truly good place to eat at very moderate prices.

A very nice experience!
Never having been impressed with the quality of the Chinese/Asian food on the upper west side, this was a very nice surprise. Everything was tasty & nicely prepared. Ambience was good. Dumplings and especially the seafood dish I had was very good. We will be back.

Wonderful food!
Love Canteen 82! I get delivery from them at least twice a week. The Pomelo Grilled Shrimp salad is awesome, and their Peking Duck, buns and dumplings are terrific as well. Soup dumplings survive the delivery journey pretty well. Food is light, fresh and non greasy and delivery is very quick.
