Poor delivery experience
This is the 3rd time that I have tried Candle Cafe. They are overpriced and the delivery is the absolute worst!!! Be warned-- after waiting over 1 hour for the delivery, the restaurant called to tell me that there was a problem and they could resend it or not. They did not offer any sort of discount for the time and trouble that they caused.

great food for the health concious
Great place to go on a friday night with friends after a show or musuem stop (considering its great location). Had the tuscan lasagna. Large hearty portions so totally worth the price. Very creamy and filling. The desserts were also didvine. My friends and i shared the carrot cake, and the chocolate cake with berry coulis. Wonderful desserts, you would never know its all natural without processed sugars. Wholesome meal, good service and reccomendations, good organic wine list. Fanstastic eat on the upper east side.

For a yummy time...
My friend Talia and I were visting NYC, and decided to eat at Candle Cafe. The atmosphere was sweet, but the food was nothing short of AMAZING! I had the fennel soup which was the creamiest and most delicious soup i had ever had. Both our entrees' were unique and scrumptious, and the dessert was great. I had the apple pie with vanilla soy ice cream, it was great having those kind of accommodations. The staff also were great and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. I would and have highly recommend Candle Cafe'

Wow, it's good but kinda pricey
The food is great without a doubt but the food was a bit pricey in my opinion. $10 appetizers? Wow. I thought it was a cafe. But the food was very innovative and fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of it.

Wow!
I have a lot of vegetarians in my family...and since they were all coming into nyc to visit me yesterday...I wanted to pick a restaurant that we would all enjoy...and WOW was i surprised by just how good the food was! Everything was just amazing! Even though I am not a vegetarian...I plan on going back many times! Who knew eatting healthy could taste so good!

Great place to eat!
One of my favorite places to eat. Took my non-vegetarian boyfriend a couple of months ago and he's STILL talking about the seiten steak we had. One of the best restaurants in NYC.
