My girlfriend and I stopped for a late lunch. We enjoyed the sangria and our food. Our only complaint was the slowness of the wait staff who needed to eat also. But we will be back.

My girlfriend and I went here after a trip to the NYCB this past weekend and this was the one part of our trip that we regret. The food was extremely overpriced, the chips didn't seem fresh, and both of our platters were huge letdowns. I ordered enchiladas and the side of rice that came with it tasted like it came from a box. The enchiladas were swimming in some kind of grease and I couldn't even finish my plate, (which never happens when I'm at a mexican restaurant). My girlfriend ordered a taco and burrito combination plate and the beef was terrifying...that's putting it nicely. It was so over-seasoned that it was literally inedible. I took one bite of her burrito and all I could taste was some kind of ground coriander or pepper. The beef flavor was nonexistent. While a very quaint restaurant from first glance, please do NOT waste your time or money with this establishment. We will definitely not be returning.

My son and I had lunch at Cancun today. We ordered a salad that was supposed to have egg. We requested no onions, dressing on the side. The waitress brought the salad and informed us they were out of cooked eggs. Did we want one later? Also, the salad had onions and the dressing never showed. We turned down the alcoholic drinks which were included but the only substitution was tap water. Our other dish was more unappetizing than chain Mexican. Avoid at all costs.

I was at the restaurant with a group of people and we had a great time. I will return to the restaurant soon.

The food was good, but the lunch special for $9.95 says it includes a margarita but this does not include flavored margaritas. However, they don't tell you this until after you've ordered and then expect you to pay $10 for each drink. After we complained, they took 10% off our bill but kept the tip the same. We shouldn't be tipping the server on the full amount when he failed to mention these limitations. When we said this, we were told it was our fault for not asking about the limitations!! Also, on this same visit, the credit card machine was conveniently out of order. I will not be returning.

My favorite cuisine is Mexican. Stopped in recently on a Friday night for post-theatre takeout. It was so loud we decided to wait outside. The waitpeople were friendly and our orders came out pretty fast. I ordered the 3 enchilada plate (red, green and cheese) for $15. They charged me $18 ($3 takeout fee?) so with tax the total was $18.45. I gave the guy $20. He smiled at me and said g'night. I guess he felt he earned a 55 cent tip for bringing the bag out. Once home, I anxiously dug in, only to find that I could barely tell the difference between the three enchiladas. The food wasn't disappointing, but it wasn't good. It was edible, but just so mediocre. So, $20 for mediocre enchiladas does not inspire me to return to Cancun.

I live around the corner from the restaurant and have been here several times. Tonight, was horrific. We were charged 17.95 for 1/2 a cup of guacamole without being told the 'large' was not the guacamole listed on the menu. Two out of six orders were completely wrong. The waiter ignored us while the bartender took pictures of him with a friend at the bar. He's very lucky that the gratuity was an automatic 20% for our table of six. Will never be going here again.
