My favorite cuisine is Mexican. Stopped in recently on a Friday night for post-theatre takeout. It was so loud we decided to wait outside. The waitpeople were friendly and our orders came out pretty fast. I ordered the 3 enchilada plate (red, green and cheese) for $15. They charged me $18 ($3 takeout fee?) so with tax the total was $18.45. I gave the guy $20. He smiled at me and said g'night. I guess he felt he earned a 55 cent tip for bringing the bag out. Once home, I anxiously dug in, only to find that I could barely tell the difference between the three enchiladas. The food wasn't disappointing, but it wasn't good. It was edible, but just so mediocre. So, $20 for mediocre enchiladas does not inspire me to return to Cancun.

I live around the corner from the restaurant and have been here several times. Tonight, was horrific. We were charged 17.95 for 1/2 a cup of guacamole without being told the 'large' was not the guacamole listed on the menu. Two out of six orders were completely wrong. The waiter ignored us while the bartender took pictures of him with a friend at the bar. He's very lucky that the gratuity was an automatic 20% for our table of six. Will never be going here again.

The food was wonderful, steak burrito was to die for!!! Service was good, took a few minutes for the waiter to get to us even though it wasn't busy but he was very helpful, polite, and attentive without being intrusive.

I was taken there for my birthday, I had a GGGRRREAT time and i thought the food was pretty tasty! I wasn't impressed with the gucamole but the main course which was salmon tacos was very tasty! The frozen Margarita was GOOOD. I would recommend this restaurant. For NYC this place is reasonable, good service and goood food!!!

The biggest rip-off in town! The regular margaritas are around $10-12, so we opted to order margaritas with Patron and the waiter did not inform us that the 'top shelf' liquor would set us back $26 for a glass :( . We ordered fresh guacamole from the appetizer menu and the cost was $8, however when I checked the bill it was a 'food item' at $18! The food was ok but nothing to write home about. I complained to the manager but unfortunately she was of no help :(

I live in the neighborhood and have eaten here many times. I have never had a bad meal or experience. Food always piping hot, large portions, excellent taste, good fast service. Fav is the 3 combo w/tamale, burrito, enchilada, love it! Like the atmosphere, don't know what's wrong with some people. I'm very picky and won't eat just anywhere. This place is just fine, highly recommend.

If you are at the bar the service is great. Sitting in back not so great takes too long for food to come out and also the portions are smaller and prices higher. would not recommend to go for dinner but drinks only
