Campo is a great place to go with your family and also for a sophisticated date. The restaurant is beautiful and the menu has a great variety. The place is great and I will return

Okay, service takes a while at Sun. brunch--but the rest was unforgivable: Our waiter couldn't "find" teaspoons, so we stirred w. plastic stirrers--and he never thought to replace them in the next hour; coffee and all refills were barely warm--besides being weak; the touted "Truffled Parmesan Fries" were a joke--I don't know how much truffle oil was sprinkled, but most of my fries missed it. I ordered extra crispy--got soggy instead; and they were skimpy on key--usually meat--ingredients. Good digestion isn't always about ingredients or techniques, but also the entire emotional experience. Management: Hire more cooks and expediters!

Went there on Sat. Night around 9:30pm..everything was just disappointing.Sat in back, music was incredibly loud, and really not conducive to type and $$$ amount of food..Bread sticks (?) brought over seemed stale, and cold..at same time bus boy dropped glasses on floor right next to us..no comment from employee or management as to noise, and possible splatter of glass...the linguine with clam sauce was soggy and just average in taste..never received spoon to assist with pasta, or no cheese or pepper was offered..only 4 little clams as well, one was closed..my associate had salmon, small portion, and extremely average...server never came over during meal --never...but did ask, while others were taking away plates....2 minutes later, check was presented, and we were never asked if we wanted dessert or coffee, big mistake...not a great experience...won't go back..too many better restaurants in neighborhood.

My girlfriends and I went to Campo last night for dinner and drinks. We ended up staying for hours because we had so much fun and loved the atmosphere. For dinner we split the margherita pizza, simple but delicious, and the brick chicken, may be the best chicken I have ever had at an Italian restaurant in NYC. We also ordered a round of the famous "Barnard" drink, which was so tasty that we kept ordering more as the night continued. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. Definitely a great night. We had no problems and loved everyone and everything and will be back very soon!

My boyfriend and I have been checking out different restaurants in the neighborhood and decided to give Campo a try. We had dinner on a pretty quiet Monday. We started off with some roasted peppers (yum!), and then each had a pizza. The pizza's were ok, not great and not unappetizing. We ordered 2 drinks from their menu, "Hot Mess" which was tasty, and a mojito that was full of sour mix and not a lot of rum. Maybe a fluke. Our waitress however was FANTASTIC. She was very friendly and helpful and right there whenever we needed something. Verdict: Better places in the neighborhood, especially for the price. Might give it a second chance.

I just returned from dinner at Campo. I was served the incorrect drink three times in a row, with a different person bringing it each time. We had to ask twice before we could get any water. We did not see our actual waiter once after placing our order until the end of the meal (when we still had not been served the correct drinks). He did not seem concerned by this. The food is not worth the frustration.

My husband and I invited four friends to dine with us at Campo. We could not have had a better meal anywhere else in the city. We ordered the brick chicken entree and the scallops and a chicken parm. We also had the pasta bolognaise. Chef David Rotter was in the kitchen doing what he does best! We can't wait to go back.
