This is a go-to spot for our family. The food is wonderful, the people are wonderful - we have a terrific experience every time. (And, contrary to the prior review, the chicken parm is a particular favorite.)

I have given a review of campanlie restaurant myslef and i totally disagree with the last reveiw. truthfully i think that whoever these people are dont know good food. my Experience with campile restaurant has been the best Experience i ever had .the owner made us feel at home. the waiters were very attentive and the restaurant is very clean. i. have ordered chicken parm there and thought it was very tasty and not drowning in sauce like most places do. i never ordered the fruit di mare but i will on my next visit...at the very most i like the fact that get food on your plate and not just parsley for decoration. i have been there by myself , i have bought family members and have brought clients to campanile and there was never a complant. in fact they complimented the food . keep up the good work Campanile .everyone has there own opinion and this is mine In rebuttle of the reveiw dated 12/12/07

We chose to eat here last night, Christmas Eve based on reviews read here and advice from a poster on another food site. Boy were we disappointed. The service was okay in that we got what we ordered, water glasses filled, etc., but the waiter read the specials and took the order as he watched the tv which was on at the bar, never making eye contact. That special 'treat you like home' feeling never happened. We never met the owner, unless he was the guy who was walking around that looked like an owner/manager. The food was bad. I mean bad. The chicken parm was a pounded breast of chicken that was about 1/8" thick, with lots of cheese on it. I never saw it prepared that way, and hope to never see it again. The fruiti di mare was overcooked and unedible. They actually took it off the bill, which was fair. The homey atmosphere and good food were not there, and being Christmas Eve, it is what we were looking for. We were looking for an Italian red sauce restaurant and were not expecting more, but at least do that well! Very disappointing. Never going back.

We were looking for a quiet, comfortable, elegant and festive place that served great food at a fair price for a large family gathering and found that at Campaniles! They accommodated the children, we were all able to sit together, the food was delicious, the staff attentive, the menu perfect, atmosphere festive, bathrooms neat and clean, and we were not rushed! The owner is personable and treated us like family. I would highly recommend this place if you are considering a family gathering.

I brought a large party (9) here before a show at MSG. The wait staff was excellent, and the food was amazing. All of my guests thought the food was great, and the waiter made sure we were finished with our meal with plenty of time to go the show. The price was also a value for the amount and quality of the food.

As a 100% italian who for the most part will not eat at Italian restaurants do to their inability to cook true italian food, this place was a definete exception. Great food, true to Italian cooking. Would recommend for family dinners, dates, friends, anything!

This restaurant is a delight. It is about time that I found a restaurant that is so nice to be in. The food is really good. Everything I had was wonderful. The atmosphere is just right. I usually go by Zagat when it comes to trying new restaurants. Well this restaurant out of all that I have gone to really deserves to be in Zagat. Get with it Zagat!!! You should have them in your book. The service is right on the money. I did not have to wait long for anything.
