Okay here is the deal...I came to those place two months ago and was impressed. Great brick oven pizza, small intimate atmosphere and thought that Bay Ridge finally had a spot that I would return to more than once. Unfortunately, I made a second visit to this place and it was a complete disaster. Great Brick oven pizza is not difficult to find, especially not in the Brooklyn area. What could have made this place stand out was being in Bay Ridge and providing excellent service. I experienced such terrible service here that is enough not to make me go back. First, we had two different waiters. The tall russian looking guy was completely lost. He looked confused and the other spanish male waiter just did not pay attention at all. He never put our order in. We put an order in for appetizers and pizza at the same time. After eating the appetizers we LITERALLY had to wait an hour to get the pizza and it was only after we reminded the waiter THREE times. He kept apologizing. While sitting there we overhear a blonde russian looking waitress/hostess go up to the counter and make fun and rant about a customer that was inquiring about vegetarian options on the menu. We hear this girl making fun of the customer and complaining to one of the spanish guys behind the counter - Completely NOT COOL. What is lacking (at least on the night we went) was a manager overseeing the place and making sure waiters and waitresses are professional and paying attention to their customers. They were not and it seemed as if there was no management at all and because of this they have lost my business. Completely unprofessional and for the prices they charge they need to up their service. Lastly, if you are going to charge $10 for a glass of wine you should be serving it in wine glasses and not soda glasses. Sorry to say I will not return to this place. There are far better brick oven pizza joints that RESPECT their customers. To the owners, your service has lost you a handful of customers and unless you rectify and pay attention, you will lose many more.

I love the food and atmosphere, but the waiters need to have some tranimg on when to remove your plates. The Constant running over and taking your plate when there is still food is very irritating. Me and my date asked for a glass of wine and he gave it to us in a water class. Things like this can make you want to go else where.

The food is good but the pizza has hardly any cheese and the toppings are there I think. I had to look really close to even see if they are visisble and the spinach was frozen not fresh. Coal fired is the way to go but they only serve a small 12 inch thats $1400 plain. To feed a family of 3 you need two coal fired pies and wih a few topping your looking at $40-$50 bucks

My sister and I checked out Campania for lunch today. The food is delicious and our server was friendly. We will definitely be back. Next time, I'll try the pizza.

The pizza is great for the neighborhood because it something very different. They screwed up my entire delivery order, sent the wrong pizza. I would still order from Campania.
