Great food, attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff. We loved the piano player too. A very enjoyable evening.

Some friends recommended that we try this place and we are glad we did. Food was excellent. We had a pasta sampler & shrimp scampi appetizer to start, followed by a sizzling T-Bone steak for 2. We were looking around the dining room and spotted Eli Manning having dinner with his wife. Loved that. We did split a Napoleon for dessert which was excellent. Service was attentive. All around a very enjoyable evening.

Food was very good. It was our first experience and we felt like we were imposing on our server. We felt like we where in a pizzeria the way the food was flying around the table.

My 2 girlfriends and I always go to Campagnola when we have our girls trip to NYC. The food, wine and staff were fabulous! They always make us feel at home. Frankie took very good care of us, along with the other staff. He ordered our food and wine and it was just the right amount. We always enjoy ourselves there. Worth every dollar. See you next year guys!

I have heard of this place and always wanted to try it. Was visiting a friend in the city and we decided to go for it even though we knew it was on the pricey side. Well I have to say it was worth it. Once we were seated we were served a plate of salami, grana padano cheese and olives along with a bread plate. This was a nice start to have with a glass of wine. We were given menus but decided not to bother with them as the waiter brought a special board to our table and everything sounded so good. We were told if we didn't like how something was prepared on the board ( or menu),they would prepare it any way we would like. We started off with a pasta sampler that was incredible. Cheese ravioli in a porcini mushroom cream sauce, penne alla vodka and a delicious gnocchi pesto. In addition to that we had an assorted baked seafood appetizer. The T bone steak for 2 looked great but I wanted something a bit lighter and had the Chilean seabass oreganata. My friend went for the Veal Chop which he said was one of the best he ever had. As full as we were, we had to get some dessert. We went with the recommended homemade Napolean and a coconut sorbet. Perfect end for a great meal with attentive service. I look forward to going back next time I am in the city.

This restaurant was a total rip off. Less then average food, crazy expensive and clostrophobic. Beware the matre d or who ever the guy in the suit is. His sole purpose is to pad your check with drinks and appetizers and what ever else he can sell you. You think he's throwing things in for free - "he'll take care of everything". They really take advantage of you every opportunity they get. The salesman in the suit brings you drinks you didn't request and over recommends appetizers for the table likes he's your best buddy. This place belongs in times square where you can almost expect to get ripped off. But a tourist trap on the upper east side - I don't get it. Definitely not a neighborhood restaurant - more of a one and done tourist trap. Save your money and time. Stay far away from this place.

Nice restaurant, staff very nice but the food was poor. Had a 50$ lobster angel hair special that had two tiny peices of rubbery lobster meat - not even any claw meat. The sauce was completely bland - What a waste of money.
