Is it ever open?
The food is okay and cheap, but the place is hardly ever open... my room last year had a view of it and it was ALWAYS closed.

Always a great meal
I come here often with my friends in the neighborhood. Staff is always friendly and the service is good. The portions are big and prices are extremely fair especially for NYC. Everything from breakfast to pastas is cooked to perfection. Great neighborhood spot!

a home cooked meal
the owners are fabulous, especially the hostess (dont know her name but think she is the owners wife). A homey meal as if my mom cooked it. Best chicken salad in the city!

Not good
I've eaten there a couple times only because it was cold it Camilles is located very close to my dorm. The food was bad, and the music playing was some awful pop station, which really killed the atmosphere. This place has a really great location, without it, the place would have to close.
