Calvin's Royal Rib House

Not the best soul food I have tasted. They don't give you enough food for the money you spend. They put their dinners in the tiniest trays so that they can only give you a spoonful of the sides you order. This was my first and last time eating from this place.

I grew up on this Calvin's food, my family and friends are continious customers...I love everything, this is an original "Ma & Pa Take Out"...

I'm a sure nuff rib girl, and the ribs here are sure nuff good. And the signature sauce is like none I've ever tasted. The staff is nice and friendly giving you a warm neighborly feeling. When you get a chance, stop in, and don't forget to ask for a piece of blueberry cornbread, goes great with the ribs.

Service can be kind of slow, but the food is good. The cornbread rocks my world.

My boyfriend came to my job going on and on about this soul food spot. He said their food is the best and he would put money on it. So he went and got me some lunch. He bought me back the short ribs of beef with the macaroni & cheese, candied yams and blueberry corn bread. I must say.........he was right! I didnt like the sauce they use at first (hot sauce, ketchup and mustard that they mix up to make bbq sauce) but it eventually grew on me. I secretky been there a few times since he bought me lunch without him knowing (since I critized him when he 1st bought it for me). You will not regret going there trust me.
