    awful food

My friends and I had dinner here and it was terrible. I ordered the cod which was a "house favorite". The fish was bland and tasteless, the coating had zero flavor. It was supposed to be served with roasted corn and garlic spinach. It was just unseasoned wilted spinach topped with canned corn. Pathetic. My friends burritos were edible, nothing to write home about. They came with nothing but a side of soggy salad. Sour cream was $1 extra. My friend ordered a frozen margarita that was the most synthetic, fake lime flavor ever, it reminded me of dish soap. The sangria was less than stellar also. I have no complaints about the server, she was fine. I will never go back here..ugh...

    Nice place poor service

My girlfriend & I planned to have a nice happy hour after long week at work, and instead that we've got the poor service we could ever think of... the food was Ok & the price was fine, i have to say that the margarita was good. Think twice before you go there...

    Fun

I live around the corner, and work nowhere nearby so when I heard that a coworker Xmas gathering was going to be there I was surprised, and honestly, disappointed. Walking by I see a bouncer and some 20-somethings (ok - I am in my 30s) at the door. But I have to say, if you want to go to a place after work (on a Thursday anyway), can shut out the crowd if you are a NY snob (this is not NY cool), and like strong drinks and a mix of music that will get you moving, you have found it! The bartenders were attentive and friendy, and they had a hottie with jello and test tube shots working the floor. The goal is clearly for them to make money - but I had a great time in the process - so who a I to complain? I can't comment on the food, but as a bar I say good ol' American Cheese fun. I think this is a chain (read:Orlando?) but whatever.

    Easy Fun

This restaurant is fun and loud - a bit too loud at times. But, what I love about this place is it doesn't take itself too seriously. For anyone that wants fine dining, this isn't the place. If you want good food, great service (our waitress was better than any other I've experienced in New York), and strong drinks - there's nothing better.

    Mediocre

I have been here during the happy hours. Quite noisy!! I hae also been at lunch times. the food is mediocre. No attention to details. Who cooks mexican food here? Even sangria tastes like cheap fruit punch. Service is slow. It is only medican place in the beat. I am surpised that they are still in business!

    Happy Hour Central

This place is awesome. The DJ is great, drinks are flowing, feels like happy hour doesn't end! Raffles all the time, good deals on drinks. Food is equally as great!!! highly recommended!

TGI Fridays with a Mexican Twist

The food is acceptable but their complimentary salsa and nachos- ew. Where the hell did they get the salsa from? Did someone throw a chili pepper into tomato juice and serve it up? Ditto on what the guy below me said about the service. The after-work happy hour gives it a lively atmosphere and hey, they can't screw up beer (oh wait it was warm). At least it beats the the bar next store that reaks of old man smell. Calico Jack's is good for happy hour and generic grade noshing.
