Memories of My Childhood
I love the eggs and chorizo platter! BUT they also will make it with egg whites because I'm allergic to the yoke. The platter comes with the egg & chorizo with refried beans and rice plus 4 steamed tortillas on the side. All for under $5.00! Order cafe con leche with it....

Best take out in Park Slope
Calexico is the place for "real" mexican in park slope if you want a delivery. Enchiladas have a nice cheese topping with the green sauce. The rice and beans are also excellent. And the place is a bargain!

Best Nachos in New York
The BEST nachos I've eaten in New York for an amazingly reasonable price. Definitely worth it.

Cheap, delicious Mexican
If the outside wasn't so bootleg looking, this place would be crazy busy.

our mexican stand-by
i agree. gem. good home style cooking. i prefer the meals to the basics here... i wasn't estatic about the borrito but love the fish, shrimp, chicken and relleno dishes. my boyfriend and i eat here on average once a month which is saying a lot. our friends who come over and need late night take-out love this place as well.

Good, Cheap, Fast
Don't be deceived by the outside appearance of this place. It's never busy and looks like a dive spot, but the food is amazing and the prices are insanely cheap. We've been about 10 times and always had fast, friendly service. Delivery orders come very quickly and accurately also. Portions are good and dinner or lunch for two usually costs about $15. Highly recommended.
