Great!
The atmosphere is great and there was a sitar player tonight. You get a lot of food for your money. Ask for it spicy and get the Vegetarian Thali platter.

Food was good, but service was awkward
Went here with my boyfriend, and we brought some wine with us so we could get buzzed for less $$. When we asked for a cooling agent for the white wine the waiter looked at us in amazement. We were the only people in the restaurant that day, and the service was still slow. The waiter kept looking at us while we ate and was pushing us to buy more than we had ordered. The food was very good, especially the vegetarian dishes. But the service was too awkward. I wouldnt go back.

Always Great
I've been going here for years, a friend introduced it to me who is also a huge fan. Since then I've tried a number of other places to switch it up, but we always come back to Calcutta. I'd highly recommend this place for both sit-down and delivery. Music, Service, Food, it's all great IMO.

Great food
sometimes the service is a little slow but the food here is great and the music makes for a nice atmosphere. One of my favorite places in the village

Birthday Fare
My daughter has chosen this restaurant for a few years to gather the family to celebrate her birthday. Each year we look around for a change of venue, but Calcutta offers great food, good music and good service. This year the waiter noted that we were having a birthday celebration and brought out a special desert (not a cake, as he also noted that there were a few gluten-intolerant diners in the party) replete with a candle and accompanied by staff singing 'Happy Birthday!" It was a really pleasant experience for all of us.
