What I wanted in TSQ.
Honestly speaking, I haven't been to Caffe Bene when I was in Korea. My first visit to Caffe Bene was on St. Patrick's day and.... I really liked it. Some people cynically say it's not located at the center of TSQ, but I prefer its current location because I don't want my coffee shop to be a crowded/loud place. It was pretty much packed with travelers and local customers at the front side, but there was enough room for people who want to read books/ work on the laptops in the back. In TSQ where we can't find any spacious place to take a rest or have a chat with friends, It's like a hidden gem. Okay, let's talk about Coffee and Food there. I ordered Vanilla Latte and LOVED it. I was disappointed when I tried V.Latte at Starbucks in NY for the first time, so compared to that, CB's latte was fairly good. Their belgian waffle with blueberry and white powder(I don't know its name;) was really tasty!! It was chewy, moderate sweet, went well with the coffee! yummmm! Gelato and cakes looked so good, too. I'll try them next time. Def including Misugaru Latte. Oh, one more thing! It opens till 2am, so it would be a great spot for people who want to chat/ work/ hang out with friends/ colleagues late at night. with some coffee and sweets.
