I tried to read most of the reviews on this site, and was so disappointed. no one said anything about the chicken and waffles! i was outraged. on top of everything the service was great but i would never go here and order anything but chicken and waffles. so to me all these reviews were a scham cause that is by far the best thing on the menu. further more everyone talked about the atmosphere... it sucked i was more pissed that i had to hear techno while eating brunch. step your rep up and go and get the chicken and waffles or else you clearly shouldnt go to cafeteria!

So, my friend and I decided to do brunch at Cafeteria. We were definitely glad we did. The breakfast Croissant Sandwich was amazing and the Mac & Cheese Spring Rolls were even better. Definitely recommend this place for brunch. The waiter was pleasant and brought our food out rather quickly. I will definitely be back!

We went to Cafeteria and waited at the bar area for our table (even though we were told we didn't need reservations when we called). The bar area smelled. The sloppy mess of some mystery sauce on the floor at our table was cleaned up only after we asked. Our waiter took our order and did not make another appearance until he rudely threw the check on our table (after we had to ask the busboy for it). We sat with empty drinks and dirty dishes in front of us. If there was a manager, he certainly wasn't supervising. Totally disappointing experience and we vow to never return to Cafeteria. Thumbs down!

Went here on a Sat night and the ambience was great , however the food was less than average. I tried the spinach and artichoke dip and mac and cheese which were good appetizers but not the best I have eaten. The fish and chips were greasy and not fresh. My friend had the turkey burger and said it was not seasoned or cooked well. I would only recommend this place for a light bite and cocktails.

I went here one Friday after work for a bit with an old friend. The waitress told me which beers they had, and when I ordered one they were out. This is not a big deal to me and didn't really affect my perception of the place. Anwyay, I ordered the gouda and bacon mac and cheese. This mac and cheese was awesome. It is very very filling, and I really didn't need anything else. However, I had already ordered a burger with goat cheese before I realized this. The burger was disappointing. I ordered it medium and it came out well done and extremely dry. It would have been good if it was cooked right, but it wasn't. All in all, it was expensive. Considering my main dish came out so badly, I was disappointed overall. The atmoshpere is cool, but nothing spectacular. The same goes for the service.

I came here for brunch and felt like I walked into a party. Maybe this is great for evening, but when I'm not even awake yet, it's just too much to handle. The food was pretty good, except the eggs benedict (flavorless), but it was a bit ruined by the scene.
