Not recommended
Just wanted to say we got some food from here tonight (based on the good reviews). The people were very very sweet and nice but the food just is NOT good. Not the worst food we've ever had or anything like that but there are many better choices in the hood.

Good for vegetarians!
The food here is so good! I really love Caribbean food, and as a vegetarian it's hard to find options beside just rice and beans, but at Cafecito they have a vegetarian sandwich and an entree. The appetizer of bollos is just amazing. And the food is much less expensive than most places around. Can't recommend it enough!

Hidden Treasure
A friend took a few of us to Cafecito last week. What a warm place. Loved the music and the waitstaff. All I wanted was a salad with some protein. I had the house salad and added the Chilean Sea Bass. Oh my, it was the best think I've eaten in a long time. And, the price was right. My friends had the traditional Cuban food. Roppa Vieha, Chirasco, etc. with rice, beans, and so on. I tasted everything and it was delish. Hope this place stay around a long time.

Nothing Special
I must say I was VERY dissapointed with cafecito. The carne frita is excellent. My boyfriend ordered the Ropa Vieja and it was truly horrible, totally not authentic. It tasted like some tomato stew or something. The rice was hard and had no flavor whatsoever and the beans....not good. Maybe I'm being a little harsh because I am cuban and may have higher standards. But to be fair, I did try this place on 3 occasions and each time was worse than before. The food was a huge dissapointment and very overpriced, no substitutions allowed and they always forget something when you order delivery.

Tasty
I went with my husband and enjoyed every minute. The restaurant is small and so cozy. I read all the reviews and could not wait to eat. The portions are plentiful and the prices are so reasonable. The food was so delicious. The twice fried tostones...yummy. I had such a great time, I am planning to go back.

Good Food! Good Prices =0)
Nice little place, I loved the decor as much as the food. It was a wonderful experience. Good service all around, not to mention the beautiful women I saw there. I will definitely come back again.

I looove cafecito
I love this place...the food is amazing so good and so affordable and the waiters and bartenders have always been friendly. I bring everyone i know here. The churrasco is to die for!
