I finally made it to Cafecito after hearing great reviews and having a craving for Cuban. Well, I was not disappointed in the least. The bollos were delicious, and the churrasco was full of flavor. The chimichurri was the best Ive ever had. To top it off our server was very pleasant and it was just an overall great meal. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a delicious cuban meal.

This hole in the wall on Ave C quickly became my favorite restaurant after just 2 visits. I've since eaten there a few more times and am always pleased at how delicious everything is. The menu is diverse but not offensive and the flavors are superb. The service is attentive but not doding, and the food is very reasonably priced. The only drawbacks, in addition to its locale, are that they won't take reservations and you feel as if you're sitting on top of every body else (but that also gives you a chance to see what you'd like to order next time!). I highly recommend it!!

This is one of my favorite spots in the city! The food is consistently delicious and fresh, and the service is friendly and prompt. The place is cozy and fun, with Cuban music playing in the background. Every time I come here, I can't believe how great the food is! I highly recommend trying it, especially for the value.

This is decent Latin food, although as a Cuban, I can't really recommend it as traditional Cuban food... The good thing about this place is the value--it's cheap Latin food with a fun atmosphere. And the service is usually friendly, with welcoming waiters and waitresses. Unfortunately, the management is just rude. They won't accommodate any special requests or help make your experience more enjoyable. Also--watch out for the pre-fixe--you'll need to buy into it for a larger reservation (starting at 6 people), but it is much more expensive than ordering a la carte, and it doesn't include drinks or dessert.

I was really impressed with this place. The price to quality ratio is definitely the biggest draw here. The bar area is a little outdated, but the dinning area had a lot of atmoshpere. As for th food the ceviche, skirt steak and ropa vieja were all done very well. Drinks were a little too sweet in my opinion. Will probably stick to beer next time as there is no wine list. Definitely will return or order in from them in the near future.

Very friendly service and excellent food in a fun atmosphere! Recommendations: Ensalada De Pollo a La Brasa, Bistec de Pallomilla and the sangria of course!
