We dont go out often to live music venues. Cafe Wha has been always one of our places to go out when we were younger. we came back to celebrate my birthday and i must to say everything was so ggod that i felt young again.. We had great food and drinks and above all is the atmosphere that brought together many people from different places and all of them seemed to enjoy the music and have fun without bother anybody. The staff was great and friendly althiugh the place is packed. Above all is the band that any thing i wil say I wont say enough- the best band in NYC! Thank you guys- will come back more often.

I went to this place with my sister for the 1st time..i must say i was impressed with the live band which touched all types of music..the drinks were good..and i loved the atmosphere..will come bck again..FYI..the icecream desert taste really cheap..other than that go there and i promise you'll have a blast!

Been going here for years with friends and it never really gets old! The band and music are always great and it's the crowd's energy combined with dancing in the aisles that make it a completely fun night! Food and drinks are good, too.

not worthy it. the drinks cost the same as every place else. the wednesday house band is bland and plays typical covers that remind one of jr high school make out sesssion. the bouncers are paranoid that people leaving haven't paid and will hold you hostage and not let you out!

I came to Cafe Wha not expecting too much. Thought it would be just a typical bar but it turned out to be such a fun place! I ended up staying with a bunch of friends till 3 in the morning dancing to the live music. And there was no cover charge either! I will definitely be back =)

I travel from to NY from the UK quite often, and have been a regular at Cafe Wha for many years. Don't go for the food - eat elsewhere before you go in. The live band are simply amazing, and are on-stage from 9.30 until very late (4 am at the weekend). You might not intend to stay late, but I guarantee you won't be able to leave early.

Cafe Wha is a place that gets better & better everytime I go... the food is run-of-the-mill bar food, burgers etc. The main attraction is the Cafe Wha Band that plays... AMAZING. So fun ~ great place to go with friends or on a date. Love it!
