    Aztec Pizza Fantaztec!

While harboring a NYer's disdain for any "nontraditional" pizza toppings (pineapple, bbq chicken - wtf???), I have to give propers to the delicious corn-crusted, roasted red pepper and cheese pie served up by these folks. Not greasy, with good textural combinations & fresh ingredients.

Don't feel bad about eating pizza

While regular pizza is often too greasy and leaves me feeling sick, this is never the case at Cafe Viva- especially their sicilian slice without cheese but with a delicious spicy tomato sauce. A great value, best as take out.

    Viva la Viva

Excellent food for vegans and vegetarians, with flexible options and delicious fresh veggies. Pizza's never burned or underdone; delivery's not the quickest, but the quality's worth the wait. Whole wheat crust is excellent, and the cheese is never too excessive or sparse. Better at home, where you can indulge in your beer of choice.

So good if you have food allergies

This is so out of this world good. I grew up on the upperwest side and have a wheat allergy. The pizza and pasta can be made wheat-free and everything is soooo tasty- you won't be dissapointed

This place is super for vegans/vegetarians. it provides many many many options to make us happy. delivery is always quick and food is always yummy and piping hot! the one bad thing: this restaurant stores your credit card numbers in their computer and prints them on every receipt. so even if you order, and don't use your credit card, it will still appear at the bottom of your receipt... other than that, the food's great!

    Best value for a slice

I've eaten at Viva many times, and their slices are amazing. BIGGER, better and cheaper than most of the big name places. the pastas are also a good deal. the penne ala vodka, and pasta carbonara are especially good, and they all come in really big portions.

    This is my favorite restaurant

See, it's not really a restaurant, but its menu is better than most establishments that call themselves restaurants. The pizza is all natural- the cheese is real! The plain pizza is great, and the whole wheat pizza even tastes good. Most pizza place's whole wheat tastes like whole wheat bread with cheese and sauce- not pizza. Viva can teach the lot how to make whole pizza. Their other dishes are also quite good. Their pastas taste great and are a great value. The only downside is that their sicilian is average (no better nor worse than any other place) and with deliveries, unless you specify the correct size, delivery slices are smaller than regular in store slices. Other than that, its great!
