The Shrimp Scampi was to die for! It was garlicky and zesty with a perfect balance of rice and haricot verts! I am surely going back!

I am not a French cuisine connoisseur (by any means), but my overall experience at this restaurant will keep me coming for years to come. It started with our experience with the hostess. She was a young girl with such a welcoming pleasant attitude, right when we walked in, it set the tone for the meal which was to die for! We loved the Steak Tartar and the crab cakes and the bisque was a religious experience. Give it a try - you will not be disappointed.

I spent quite a number of hours at Cafe Un Deux Tois, as it turned out, and it was always wonderful. The food was superb, and the host is a wonderful gentleman who was so solicitous of his guests. I would go there again in a heartbeat! And don't pass up on the pomme frites! The "Jose Fries" are to die for!

..or drinks only. One waitress (to be fair, another was okay) was rude and obvious in trying to get the 2 of to leave immediately after finishing our meals. We had soups each and one wine. This happened twice. Good part: we could express what we thought on the paper table cloth with the crayons provided. The lobster bisque was excellent once and not good the other time, salads are fine, wine overpriced even for the obvious area (priced for tourists).

Took three friends here around the holidays and they all agreed - great meal, atmosphere, and service. Whether I stop by with a date before theater or with friends anytime, we always leave satisfied. The food is good to very good, the service is friendly and effiecient, and the room has a cool buzz about it.

Well... Went back to that place with friends and was embarrased. First, they increased the prices, and had the delicacy to give the old menu with the old prices to one of us. The food has changed, portions are smaller - which is not a bad thing, but if I pay more $$, I expect at least the same amount of food in my plate... Service was not great. New waiters with very little experience. Will I go again? Big maybe, probably not.

I had not visited this restaurant for years; my favorite in this area was The Century which was torn down to make way for a very tall monstrosity. The restaurant was noisy as I remembered it. We were there before the theatre and the noise level increased. The service was poor. Our waitress did not anticipate our needs; she spent her time elsewhere and we had to look for her everytime we wanted something; and to pay the bill as well. The crab cakes were a disappointment. Will I try it again? Probably but I will undoubtedly wait a while.
