So-so service
The food was pretty good, and came out very quickly which was great. However, the service was not the best. Most of the staff was very kind and friendly, while others were not, unfortunately. We were somewhat uncomfortable during our visit.

I would not go back
I went there for the first and last time. The roast chicken was very dry, the skin was not crisp, and was tasteless. Also, the Brussels sprouts were cold and boiled (not exactly a French way of preparation). The server brought a spoon by holding it by its cup. He also licked his finger to turn a page. Ugh! Also paint was chipping on the ceiling!

We always come back!
We live in NJ but frequently go to theater shows and visits to NYC. Often we meet with friends or take our visiting relatives and friends to the city. Three years ago we discovered Cafe Un, Deux, Trois and since then we have come back many times with other people, or just to celebrate something like a birthday or meet with friends. We like the food quality, the way they treat us, and the prices. It is a comfy place to come back every time we are in NY and want to have something good but not expensive. The atmosphere is nice, like in a cafe in Paris, and I love the convinient location.

Not Recommended
Went to this restaurant simply for dessert and coffee after a show. The manager and wait staff were welcoming and the decor and ambiance was great. That however is the sole appeal of this place. We tried two different kinds of crepes, the apple tart and chocolate mousse. They were all sub-par! The chef must have clearly decided in creating the recipe for the apple tart that because its dessert, it must be really sweet...and nothing else. The chocolate mousse was particularly disappointing as it was incredibly dense. It tasted like they took some store bought chocolate icing, stuck it in the fridge for a couple weeks then put it in a cup to serve. It pains me to be so cruel but that food was like an unprovoked assault on my taste buds. Even a mediocre restaurant can usually at least produce an edible dessert; so if that portion of the meal was so poor, I can only imagine what the rest of the menu would be like. You can venture there if you feel like it, but don't say you weren't warned.

Last minute choice
Went to Une Deux after a last minute change in plans. Had just enough time for a light dinner before the show. The service was crisp and the crepes were quite good. I've eaten there over the last 20+ years from time to time and have never been disappointed. It is what it is. A mid-level French restaurant not too different from places I've been in Paris.

Not worth it!
Food came out quick but was cold. I guess because it's in the Theatre district they make everything ahead. Food was premade, it certainly wasn't made to order. Will not return.

Still love it just as much!
I hadn't been back to Un Deux Trois for some time and was delighted I had! I saw they opened for breakfast and decided to go try it out, loved it so much I went back for lunch with some colleagues of mine! Although I loved the old menu it is nothing but an imporvement, I now can enjoy crepes! The service is also great, the waiters are attentive and the managers very welcoming. I recommend any reader to go try it! The changes to the decor and the new menu are both worth seeing and trying. The restaurant managed to keep its charm and french atmosphere with these upgrades. I would recommend it to anyone and I guarrantee noone could disagree after tasting one of their desserts!
