    Awful

I used to come here when I went to the theater. Our waitress forgot my wife's entree and she seemed nervous and kept apologizing. The place wasn't very crowded so we were surprised that our food took so long. The prices have gone up and the food wasn't that good. I will look for another place next time

    Delightful

Wonderful friendly service, great bar food, terrific atmosphere. Really enjoyed calling Cafe Un Deux Trios our local during our 10 day stay in New York.

    New Yorkers love it

Native New Yorkers who attend the theatre regularly know they can get a simple, reliable meal at Cafe Un Deux Trois with excellent service and still get to the theatre on time. Though we usually allow more than an hour, we have gotten there at 7:20, had two courses and coffee, and easily made our 8:00 curtain. Escargots, roast chicken, steak frites, salade nicoise, profiteroles -- all the brasserie classics are perfectly good. Are there better restaurants in New York? Of course! But where else can busy New Yorkers run into old friends, bring picky young theatre-goers, and eat and move on with so little fuss? Out-of-towners, stop complaining and get to your seats on time to turn off your cell phones and zip your lips before the curtain goes up. People might mistake you for natives.

    Poor Food, Poor Service

Very disappointed. The restaurant was incredibly loud and the waiting staff kept mishearing our orders and bringing us the wrong things. Additionally, three of the people with me got undercook meat, two of which were eating chicken. My girlfriend received cold and amazingly tiny crabcakes for twenty dollars. The waitstaff, tried to be friendly but repeatedly got orders wrong and forgot to bring us water. I got the white bean stew which was pretty good but a little overly salty. In conclusion, I would not recommend this restaurant.

    Not about the food

The service is by far the best thing about this restaurant - it is not five star but it is attentive and accomodating and everyone from the waiter to the busboy is working hard to please. The decor is cavernous and tired french bistro. When it is half-empty it is a bit depressing. The food is generally poor, and priced in range with the city's much better bistro- options. My pate was a very thin slice of cheap pate that was obviously not wrapped air tight before being stored. My mashed potatos came in the shape of the cafeteria ice cream scooper and were clearly powdered. Entree's were $30 and unimpressive across the board. I feel bad for toursits who wind up here because it is near their hotel.

    I love it!

I go to Cafe Un Deux Trois a few times each year, and I've never been disappointed . The service is very professional, the escargot is my favorite ANYWHERE, and the special Thanksgiving menu is better than anything anyone's mom would ever cook. I highly recommend the place!

    Good style, mediocre food

I went here with my school recently, and I wasn't impressed at all. My trout had no flavor at all, the mashed potatoes were processed-tasting, and the cheesecake was the worst I've ever had. The waiter admitted at least three things were not made at the restaurant. My friend told me that the wine had barely cooked off his beef entree. The service was great for a large group, however, and the atmosphere was excellent.
