The last two times I've been to Cafe Tibet, they've been incredibly slow. First, it took well over an hour for two of us to get food. Second we were told 20-25 minutes for take-out, but it took much closer to 55 minutes. If they had said 55 minutes on the phone, it would have been fine. But instead I got to wait 35 minutes outside the restaurant. I would have left, but they had already taken my money before telling me how much longer it would be. I was a little angry about that.

I love the lamb curry (5 stars). Momo's are good, though portion is too big. I feel guilty throwing away leftovers. Can you make them smaller? Ordered the salad once and it was huge. Maybe add side salad to the menu? But seriously, if you change one thing get a bike, preferably one of those electric jobs. I would definitely order more if you had delivery weekdays, 5 to 7.

Ginger Chicken was amazing. Meat Patties were a serious bomb diggity.

I have read so many great review and was excited to try it. We I got the Café Tibet Thali(vegetarian) and my friend got Tsel-Baklap. I didn't like mine or my friends dish. I left practically everything. I love Indian food and Thai food, I tought I would enjoy Tibetian food as well, but that was not the case.

This place is a little gem right off the tracks on Cortelyou Rd. The dishes are a wonderful blend of spices, aromas, textures and colors. We will be back.

Food is well prepared. Generous portions.

Food is delicious, plentiful, and fairly inexpensive. The interior is small and feels a little crowded, but the food more than makes up for it. I've liked everything I've tried from here, but the veg momos and the veg glass noodles are favorites. The roasted chickpea appetizer is great too. Spicy food fans take note: they will actually make things spicy when you ask!
