No recommended
I remember going to this restaurant and loved it! However this time I was extremely disappointed. Whoever the chef is should quit his day job. The food was not good at all. No flavor, no creativity and cold. My husband was extremely disappointed and he isn't a picky water. It has lost it's charm and the chef has no taste buds.

What was that?
I have had a lot of high end department store lunches...and this was unappetizing! Airplane food meets wannabe chef... I had company and could not complain at the time _ we were there on Sunday October 2nd 2011... The prices are very high for the quality and the whole meal was just so mediocre, bland and unprofessional. Should have gone somewhere else....argh. Don't go. I had the salmon with pasta and my mom had the wrap...which was some basic chicken and lettuce...the "chef "should seek employment elsewhere ...it is about 30 -35 dollars pp for lunch..you can do so much better for that. The wait staff are cordial but not elegant... you feel like you are at a diner.

best soup in the city
BEST corn chowder I've ever had. In my life. Hands down.

SWEET PLACE
I ate Saks cafe today and it was so amazing, they have awesome pasta and the service was great. Their best feature is a really cute hostess who not only shows you to your table but give every table special attention she was so great with kids... if you have young children definetly go there.....

Saks Cafe in the sky
This restaurant was closed all last summer. Where was that reviewer eating? I love the soups & desserts but the custom made salads are superlative. Try the risottos too. The ambiance is very different now, but the views are still spectacular. I've found the wait staff truly sincere & certainly accommodating with all the "special needs" of the "ladies who lunch". I recommend one try it (when it's open).

Awesome soups and afternoon tea
I love their afternoon tea and their soups are also delectable. But their service isn't so great, probably because if you go there and order a pot of tea each the waitresses don't see a big tip there and so don't try too hard. But the food is good!
