Very Good but limited hours
i have been there on several occassions and the quality and food selection has been very good. The only bummer is that they close very early at 4:30 PM. I would strongly suggest that they stay open at least until 7:30 PM.

Kevin - who attends the bar is a real treasure and the comforts one needs in the middle of all the jazzshopping !

Great experience
Friendly service, fantastic views of St Pats and Rockerfeller Center. Food was great. Enjoyed a Steak Frites and my guest had the Bistro Salad. Comfortable setting and a lively crowd. Will return.

No recommended
I remember going to this restaurant and loved it! However this time I was extremely disappointed. Whoever the chef is should quit his day job. The food was not good at all. No flavor, no creativity and cold. My husband was extremely disappointed and he isn't a picky water. It has lost it's charm and the chef has no taste buds.

What was that?
I have had a lot of high end department store lunches...and this was unappetizing! Airplane food meets wannabe chef... I had company and could not complain at the time _ we were there on Sunday October 2nd 2011... The prices are very high for the quality and the whole meal was just so mediocre, bland and unprofessional. Should have gone somewhere else....argh. Don't go. I had the salmon with pasta and my mom had the wrap...which was some basic chicken and lettuce...the "chef "should seek employment elsewhere ...it is about 30 -35 dollars pp for lunch..you can do so much better for that. The wait staff are cordial but not elegant... you feel like you are at a diner.

SWEET PLACE
I ate Saks cafe today and it was so amazing, they have awesome pasta and the service was great. Their best feature is a really cute hostess who not only shows you to your table but give every table special attention she was so great with kids... if you have young children definetly go there.....
