Just went there again, as good as always... Good food, 5 stars services and very reasonable price...that's all I want from a restaurant.

Fresh food and friendly services, way better than many other so called 5 stars rated restaurants...and that's why I am going there everyweek. Must try, chocolate bread pudding...

We have been regulars at Cafe Petisco , we just cant stop ourselfs going there. Over past 3 months we brought at least 20 friends and family. Food is really good, fresh, perfectly spiced. The soups are out of this world and you always have vegan option. The service is one of the best, very frendly, warm, welcoming, make you feel very special-like home. One of the guys working there and we believe is one of the owners as well is perfect example for the others and when he makes hot chocolate he puts his heart in it and my wife loves his accent. Dont forget to try Fish tacos, shirmps, house bread, goat cheese salad with figs, tagines and ofcourse the folafels and limonades.... Over all this is a great place to eat and enjoy yourself

so i've eaten here at least five times now. everything i have had is good. the goat cheese, red pepper and spinach omelet is yummy for breakfast. the cheeseburger is one of the best i've ever had in the city. i don't like burgers that are super huge. don't get me wrong, it is a good size burger. the sesame brioche bun is sooooo good, the fries crispy and perfectly sized, and the sauce for the burger is super duper good. oh, and the mint lemonade is refreshing and nice. overall, this is an excellent option for this neighborhood.

Food is good; much better than the cafe that was in this same location for many years. However, they're still working out some of the kinks. We had dinner there a few nights ago, and the lights were really bright. The waitress had never served the sandwich we ordered, so had to go to the kitchen for basic answers to questions. They have no lunch specials, and the pricing is a bit high for what you get. Also no lunch menu. PRO's: quality ingredients (not just touting "organic", like so many places). Great service. No liquor license, so its BYOB. Looking forward to seeing this place smooth out the rough parts.

Been to this place TONS of times for brunch and dinner. A great small restaurant in a transforming neighborhood. Food is delicious and the choices are plentiful. You have the usual brunch food but they also serve a really good hamburger and fries! Come here for dinner and this sunlit cafe turns into a cozy restaurant perfect for a date or a small get-together! A must have is the pan seared scallops! That being said, their service is great but you do see a difference with certain customers...the waiter and owner is slightly more attentive to the younger crowd whereas the other customers get stuck with the cold/standoff-ish politeness. I came here for V-day and other customers got a fuller glass of champagne and were told of the specials. We only found out about the specials when the owners told the table behind us. The taste of the food is sometimes inconsistent - my seafood risotto was full of seasoning and the scallops were done perfectly the first time. On my second time there for dinner (on Vday), the packaged taste of the risotto was overpowering and it was absolutely bland. So was the stuffed porkchop my boyfriend ordered. My friend's omlet was perfect the first time; during his second time there, the omlet was slightly burnt. Overall, this is a great place to eat if you are in the area. Hopefully, the service and food consistency will improve with time.
