Best in the W Village
The neighborhood has recently sprouted a lot of new cafes, but Panino Much Giusto is the classic - totally charming, welcoming, friendly, mellow. Their avocado sandwich won some award for being one of the 50 best sandwaiches in America (the award is there in the window) and it is indeed fantastic. Sit in the comfy window seat and linger over your newspaper or book or laptop and dig, dig, dig. Really so much fun.

Really?
After reading the previous glowing reviews of this place, I decided to try it out. While the service is friendly and expedient, the quality of the food is really nothing special. . . at all. The panini I tried were flavorless and void of any love . I wasn't looking for anything exceptional, but I thought for nine bucks a sandwich I would at least get something that I would mildly enjoy. Hopefully the food will improve.

Wonderful!
The prosciutto panini is outstanding. The fresh mozzarella melts in your mouth. Quality quality quality panini!

Can you say "mmmmmm"?
Love this place. Their sandwiches are so damn addicting. FRESH food. Not many places you can call fresh these days, Panino's is a rare gem. They have this chicken and grape sandwich (yeah i know, i was like "wtf" at first too) but let me tell you. It was just absolutly FABULOUS.

Oh Cafe Panino Mucho Giusto, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways! Your coffee, so dark and rich, has roused me from my bleakest mornings! Your comfy benches, where I have sunned my self like a fat, lazy tabby cat! Your Paninos, delicious, crispy, and custom made to my personal tastes. With out them I would surely wither away, a shadow of my self, cranky and malnourished! And your staff, friendly and kind. They will tend to every whim of the courteous customer, while banishing the rude and offensive to lesser cafes ! Oh Cafe Panino Mucho Giusto, my little piece of heaven, with out you my world would be but a void, an empty place that I would aimlessly wander! Thank God for you Cafe Panino Mucho Giusto!
