a good zone
i think orlin is the only place that understands the concept of eggs over medium. i can't eat breakfast anywhere else! They always let me customize my breakfast special and i don't mind that the oj is a little warm. i wish u could smoke on the patio and i wish they were still open 24 hours but that doesn't stop me from having 2 breakfasts a day here! And sometimes lunch too! It's a good dinner spot for those vegetarian friends of yours where u can still grub down aka its not too light or salady. Yaaay i love orlin!

Wonderful atmosphere
I dined at this restaurant with a friend and loved, loved, loved it! Our waitress was so helpful, attentive, and recommended some wonderful dishes. The food really was wonderful and the waitress recommended a great wine to accompany our already delicious dinner. The humus really is delicious and we had a suprisingly delicious appetizer with mint, watermelon, feta cheese, and greens. A combination I would never think to put together but it was a splendid joining of wonderful refreshing flavors. My friend and I enjoyed our meal and the lovely lighting that we stayed and talked for hours long after our plates were cleared. I certainly will make a repeat visit for another wonderful evening.

great neighborhood spot
Easy and alway a reliable place for good food. Great neighbothood spot. Hummus SO yummy. All dishes are consistantly good. Wait to sit outside can sometimes be long, but if you have the time, worth the wait.

Cheap but good
Not bad at all, and cheap too. The service is not that super, but who bothers? I'm here to eat, not to hear the name of my waiter... :-)

Splendiforous
This is by far the best brunch I've had in the East Village, to the point that I generally go there at least once a week. I've tried most things on the menu; favorites include pumpkin pancakes, Norwegian smoked salmon benedict, and salmon and cream cheese omelet. The coffee is amazing - it is actually made with espresso and you have the choice between Americano and Cappuccino. The fresh OJ is very good, too. I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes, and that was at a peak time. All in all, a great place.

Ice Cream !
I like this place. Good atmosphere, food and other stuff. BUT! The chocolate ice cream is probably the best i've had in the entire city, maybe my whole life.

Tastiest Food!
I've been here twice now for brunch, and the food is extremely tasty. The first time I ordered the Eggs Blackstone and the second time I ordered the Steak and Eggs. I especially liked the Steak and Eggs. Cafe Orlin has the best home fries. The service isn't stellar, but the waiters and waitresses get the job done. It's a great, chill place to share a good conversation over food that will awaken the taste buds.
