    A delight

Truly wonderful food is served here. I've been to the Cafe Mogador a few times now and go whenever I return to NYC. My favorite dish to date is the lamb sausage w/couscous. The best times I've had have been Wednesday nights when the Cafe Mogador Band plays. They are very good and I got their excellant cd, "Bellydancing for Fun and Profit." Hopefully they have another one by now. A bellydancer is usually with them too which adds to the festive feel. If you're more inclined to talk though, go on another night.

YOU'LL COME BACK AGAIN & AGAIN

A great restaurant that doesn't have much atmosphere. If you are looking for authentic moroccan food then Cafe Mogador is the place. We keep going back over and over again and the food is always wonderful.

    Mogador buck'ador

This is my second time going to Cafe Mogador and i can tell you that i will come back again for more. The selection of dishes is easy to understand and there's no confusing weird names or ingredients. The combination platters are a good example. also the Tagines are really wonderful. the cous-cous is very light and fluffy, make sure you get to try it. The hummus is very good and not spicy at all. The pita is served warm but i don't think they make it themselves. The room is lively and sometimes they have a band playing. They serve after 11pm for the late night diners-bar-hoppers. Oh and don't forget to get some turkish coffee. enjoy!
