Disappointing Tea and Croissant
I ordered a hot tea which was way too hot. I burned my lips before it even got to my mouth. I had to wait 15 minutes before I could take my first sip. I also asked for honey in it, which apparently came in packets that they were out of, so no honey. In addition to the tea, I ordered a croissant, which the cashier offered to "heat up." I'm assuming this meant toasting it or splitting it and putting it on the grill for a couple minutes. Nope - it meant microwaving it, thus destroying what was likely a mediocre croissant to begin with. I went in hungover and tired looking for some comfort food and wound up walking away pissed off. Seriously - how do you screw up a croissant and tea?

poor service
Good food, OK location, but poor delivery. They send out old food for delivery. Plus, when you order, you have to wait at least an hour to get the delivery! Good food, poor service

Good for everyday lunch
Metro has become our office's personal cook for lunch. Easy to order, good delivery and food is good. For soups go Hale & Hearty but pizzas and salads are tasty. Breakfast omlett is great deal & never got hot food (don't trust it anywhere)All in all it's good everyday food

Not recommended
I was shopping at bloomingdales after i deciding to give this cafe metro a try. They sell tropicana for fresh squeezed oj, and they charge you 4.99 for it in their plastic cup with their metro logo. I know the difference beetween tropicana and juice thats fresh squeezed..I ate a create your own salad. The romaine lettuce was old and yellow and it had a funny smell. There vegetables tasted like canned goods. As for the service, the employees looked lifeless, lazy and not too friendly. It's just a deli trying to be whatever. Not reccomended!

Great food!
I picked up food here last year to eat as I was heading home (upstate New York). My panini sandwich was excellent, and the fresh fruit was really very fresh. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, and lots of different choices for food. I definitely would recommend it for a quick bite to eat!

Not bad, but needs some work...
Since it was a rainy day outside, my co-workers and I decided to order in at Cafe Metro. The delivery was right on time, 20 mins exactly, which was great! And although the food was quite good (the eggplant milanese is perfecto! But the lemonade needs some work), the value was a little...no ...a lot skimpy! Definitely no bang for your buck. It averaged at a little more than $10 per person, but we could have easily gotten more value out of a happy meal for a fraction of the price. This place is big on taste, but frugal on value.
