I wish there was one here
Ok i my be a little bias, when i visited last year it totally lived up to my expectations and revisited when i was in new york last week. It is a fabulus place and i just wish there was one here in West Yorkshire. The only place which any where near is Betty's , Cafe LaLo offers so much more. I would highly recommend it!

Warm and inviting
I was at Cafe Lalo with 5 friends this past weekend. Yes, it is extrememly cramped, but, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and once you shoehorn yourself into your seat, you forget how crowded it is. The decor and lighting entertain your eyes while the large cups of delicious coffee and the vast array of decadent desserts satisfy your tastebuds. I highly recommend the pumpkin cheesecake! mmm...

A must see lieu for dessert in NYC
Charming atmosphere. huge sellection of desserts, that is extremelly difficult to pick one the first time around. I really recommend this place, althought the only downside is that the tables are a bit too close to each other. And even you one always has to wait for a table. once you take that first bite you'll forget about the wait.

It's really super...
The food is good and the atmosphere ist really nice! The dessert counter is incredible. There are so many choices. The only problem is that Cafe Lalo is a bit too small, so you almost always have to wait for a table...

Buzzy atmosphere - good service & food
My partner and I ate brunch here on Sunday at 12.30. Courteous, efficient staff showed us to our table. They made our wait of 15 mins for a free table very palatable with their friendly attitude. Despite the cafe being packed, we were served very quickly. The atmosphere was great and the choice of options to eat, very extensive. The bonus to all of this was that the food was very good. We enjoyed the complete experience from start to finish. Despite the obvious popularity of the place we were made to feel very welcome and the quality of the food did not suffer from trying to please all the people all the time

4 thumbs up for Lalo!
There's no better place in the world for a nice dessert! The ambiance is the best in the city...i've been going to Cafe Lalo for years and i still think that there's no better place to come enjoy chocolate fondue and a glass of sautern. It's charming and warm and the servers are lovely and all seem so happy to be there! It's romantic and dreamy and being so close to the Loews Theatre on 84W, it's a good alternative to popcorn and a soda! We have a tradition me and my man, we go for a movie and then we come by Lalo for the cakes, and pies, and canolis and the fondue! Love you Cafe Lalo!
