    Overchargers

I'm quite familiar with the menu, which is still OK. But the quality has really declined in the past few years. I live in the neighborhood and have witnessed the trajectory of this decline. Moreover, the bar will attempt to tack on extra drinks to yo

    Good meal

I went with my son who lives in NYC (I'm an out-of-towner). It's becoming one of his favorite restaurants and i see why. Delicious food, even a couple dishes for vegetarians. The owner himself was maitre d and a very charming gentleman. Recommend highly.

    Wunderbar

I wish I could thing of something original to say -- but it has all been said -- this is a wonderful restaurant with great food and particularly sweet service. It's tiny -- you must go early. One of the best dining experiences I have ever had.

    Amazing

The food here is amazing. I may not be an expert on the genre, but Cafe Katja served easily the best meal of my life in the German/Austrian vein, at extremely reasonable prices. It's very cramped and loud, but it is unquestionably one of my new favorite

    A Jewel

If you're nostalgic for Austrian / Southern German food, this place will take you to cloud nine. The menu is authentic, the food is delicious. Almost best of all is the service - the folks here are attentive, warm, personal and "real". If I lived just a l
