Best Cuban Food Anywhere!
Cafe Habana is the best Cuban food around! Their tostones are to die for and the corn is not far behind. It's a small space but worth the wait and allows for more of a neighborhood feel. The entire menu is fantastic!!

good corn
i do love the corn here and i did enjoy my dessert. the only thing i did not like was that it was such a small space and i get claustrophobic (spelling??). anyway, people are supposed to comment on the quality of the food. to big appetite, if you are going to even talk about enjoying mcdonalds, people shouldn't even listen to what you have to say since you are probably a pig who is the reason why the rest of the world is laughing at how obese americans are because they stuff their faces.

Hungry Hungry Hippo
Good Sunday, I finally had enough money to enjoy a Sunday afternoon lunch, so I decided to order from my favorite restaurant. Where else could you recieve the best Cuban food in NYC or the World? Cafe Habana....After a nice hearty wait filled with the same anticipation of a 10 year old on Christmas morning, the food finally arrived. My tears of Joy came to a hault, when I decided to check my order. Six corns became 5, 6 scoops became 2 followed by my favorite drinking game "16 bottles of beers on the wall." I have had more food ordering, from the local Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn. Feed Me! Feed Me! The lime that was in my kiddie food box was almost as big as the my steak. What I am saying with out being so wordy,..How come a big guy like me can't get a huge portion when ordering take out. I am ending this with a message that goes out all the of my favorite restaurants. "Don't slim the order of a big appetite, Mcdonalds is only around the corner." Portion is 9/10's of the Take out law. Prince Of the City

LOVE IT!
I'm addicted to Cafe Habana. Delicious food, fun environment and absolutely worth the wait! The pork chops are the best I've ever had.

wish i could rate the food....
I called cafe habana at 11:50 to order lunch. they answered the phone but told me that they don't open for 10 min. i waited, called back at noon and placed my order for delivery. an hour later and my food had not come. i've worked in the food industry for a long time and i completely realize that during lunch things can get hectic,so i called them to check on my food. they said it was just being packed up and they were waiting for a delivery person, and it should be there in half an hour. that's a total of an hour and half wait for my food. i called back again after wating another 30 minutes and someone else told me since i ordered my food at noon it had left a long time ago. they were going to call the delivery person and call me back, but they never did. i called them AGAIN and cancelled my order. i left to pick up something else for my lunch and when i returned my food was delivered, 2 hours after i had ordered it and it was cold as ice. i received no apologies, was never told a wait time on my original order and was delivered ice cold food two hours late. i am sad that i never got to try their food but after this experience, i will never order from them again...

great spot
loved the food and the ambience. it's so cute inside like an old school diner. definitely try the grilled corn with cheese, spices and lime. It is to die for. It gets crowded so get there early.
