    Good food but not Cuban

The food is great but the restaurant is too small and always busy. Have to wait hours to get a table. Also the food is Mexican not Cuban. And the value is good. Prices are reasonable. The corn is just delicious.

    mexican/cuban

Not bad - definitely has some mexican influence to the menu. Rice and beans were okay- but couldn't quite figure out the different spices that were used. Definitely try the corn if you don't mind having corn in your teeth the rest of your night.

For the This is not a night club people!

or do people who think this place is a night club? The food was better 3 years ago. The waitresses are slow but friendly and the patrons are corny wash ups. Except for me of course, I just go for the corn and the avocado and cheese sandwich.

    An inexplicable trend

First of all, this place is a Mexican restaurant for the most part, Not Cuban, so the name is a little deceiving. Secondly, the staff, apparently overwhelmed by the popularity of the place, is unfriendly and slow when serving up some bland food. Strangely, word gets around that a place is "cool" and it's instantly packed. Don't be fooled by the hype in this case.

    Corn is a must!

The hot corn with paprika, ricotta and grated cheese won me over. Fidel would love it.
