Grumpy is great....but needs longer hour
I go to Cafe Grumpy whenever I want a relaxing place to read a book or do some work on my computer. The tea is excellent (loose leaves only, no boxed teas here) and the hot chocolate is also great. I don't drink coffee, but it smells good to me anyway. The atmosphere is simple and relaxed. The one thing I really wish is that they had longer hours. They close at 7pm during the week, which is too late to go after work, so I don't get there very much. If they were open until 10pm, I would surely be there several times a week.

Best secret in Brooklyn
Just returned from Europe, and was longing to get back to Grumpy's for their coffee! The inside is great with exposed brick, and lots of local art on the wall. Not to mention, New York Times said they made on of the best coffees on the east coast. Need i say more?
