    Excellent food

Great food and drinks at this spot. Only wish it wasn't as loud and wish the tables weren't so close together. But overall, it's a great meal.

    Lovely Evening!

The food is great and the servers are so excited about everything on the menu. The Sangria is amazing and the queso fundido is the very best! Enjoy!

    Awesome Steak!

I went to Cafe Frida, on a friday afternoon, the ambiance was just getting started, but the food was awesome. The Tampiquena (steak) was out of this world. Must Try!

    Delicious

Dark sexy vibe. Must try the delicious guacamole and this amazing side dish with zucchini (unbelievable), also their short ribs. Their queso fundido is great as well.

    Great Food!

Ate here on the recommendation of a friend. Fantastic! A bit pricy but it is in NYC remember. Had the sopa de lima and skirt steak. Both were incredible! I'm fiending to get back up there again!

    A disappointment

Aside from the guacamole, which was very good, the food was decent but overpriced given the small portions. I don't mind splurging on an excellent meal, but our meals were average at best, and did not justify the price. The service was poor. Our large group was eager to learn more about various dishes on the menu, but the waiter was unwilling to stay at our table long enough to answer our questions, or even take drink orders for half the people at our table. In short, we will be looking for another option the next time we want Mexican food. With 200+ Mexican restaurants listed in this guide, there must be many that are better than this.

    Perfection

I have eaten at Cafe Frida many times and always had a pleasant experience! It is the go to place when friends and family come into town! Everyone will enjoy this fantastic food and friendly service!! But on a weekend night make sure to make a reservation!! And be sure to try there fresh Guacamole and don't miss the Fajitas!
