Hope there are better options
We just moved to the neighborhood and tried this place. Not only was the food very mediocre, the portions were not NOT worth the price. I will never order or go into the restaurant. I hope there are better restaurants in the area. I can't believe anybody likes this place.

Best Mexican food in town
Best Mexican food must try the guacamole and the shrimp fajitas for dessert the coconut flan was out of this world... Cafe frida is ten times better than Rosa Mexicano

Overpriced, Subpar Food
Take a pass - blah chips & pico de gallo (which they charge for each tiny bowl served) and overly sweet margaritas. Completely unimpressed and won't be returning - only positive is view of Nat History Museum from front tables

If you like overpriced small portions, this is for you!
I made the mistake of going here with my girlfriend thinking that a Mexican restaurant on the UWS couldn't be 'that' bad. My girlfriend and I ate our $40 'bargain' lunch begrudgingly, flanked by confused tourists and obnoxious trust-funders. The food was bland and anonymous, the service even more so. I ended up leaving the restaurant hungry and poor. The worst of it was that Shake Shack is right next door and I could have actually had a good cheap lunch.

Still my fave
I grew up in Arizona and love Mexican food. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in NYC. True, the service sucks, but the food is great.

poor drinks
I had dinner with several friends the other day. A few of us ordered martinis and a few ordered mojitos. I made a mistake by not sending my mojito back because there was NO liquor in my drink. Other than that, I feel prices are high, food good though.

I feel sorry for Frida
Because she wouldn't want to be affiliated with this establishment in ANY way. Manager gave major attitude. Service was very poor. Food portions are laughable, and in turn, so is the price. Don't go.
