The only place I order chinese food from
I order from here about once a week. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The food is a little pricey, but the place is pretty clean. Keeping in mind that it is very difficult to keep restaurants free of everything, especially next door to a fast food joint.. this place does very well. I love the pork fried dumplings and the General Tsao's chicken. Very fast delivery. This is the ONLY place I will order chinese food from.

Great dim sum
I seriously believe that the dim sum here is so much better than the greasy plates in Chinatown. Service is great given that it's a Chinese restaurant too.

Great Dim Sum
The dim sum are always great weather we eat at the restaurant or have it delivered. The rest of the food is good, if not exciting. It beats going to Chinatown and not being able to park.

Better in the Area
Although I ordered delivery, the chicken and broccoli was terrible... the chicken tasted awful and dry... there is much better chinese in the area.

The Dim Sum and Food
I have known Henry (the previous owner) for over 25 years, I go to every restaurant that he had association with. Even though we share the same name, we are not related in any way and form. At a recent visit to Cafe Evergreen on a Saturday Dim Sum, I and my family were totally astonished by the fact that the Dim Sums were kept at such a high quality, not just in taste, but also the many varieties. The shrimps in the dumplings were so fresh and crunchy that you just want to have more. We went back the same evening for dinner to find out the place was half full. The place was very clean, the service was effective, the food was very good as compare to $ sign. I am surprised that this restaurant blossoms without the Master of the Trade, Henry. I recommend this to everybody, strongly, keep up the good work, Evergreen, we need a good Chinese restaurant in the Upper East Side.
