Very, very good in or out

I have previously reviewed this place and enjoy it very much. My office, which is around the corner, catered a small office party from here and it was excellent. We had salad, a shrimp dish, a chicken dish and a sausage dish and it was enjoyed by all. The flan & tiramisu desserts were excellent. Highly recommended, a great value, nice atmosphere, and good service, albeit a little slow due to somewhat of a language barrier, but so what, we can overcome that. The location on Bleecker Street, however, is a whole other story.

Good n it could be better

The atmosphere is great when I go there with my friends we alway have fun, the service is very good, and the food is good but it could be better. The place is clean and is located in a good area too. I really recommend this place.

En verdad comida de la Corunia

Having gone here for luck once a week, and having lived in Spain, I can say that their food is truly northern Spanish, esp. from the Corunia region of Spain. The fish are an absolute must, as is the paella. Didn't try tapas (lunch), but whenever am in the area and hungry, this is the place to go.

    The family's Spanish standard

When we can't decide on anywhere to eat we always end up at Cafe Espa?ol. The portions are huge and great service. Victor is always so happy to see us he already knows our drinks and favorite appetizers. Very warm and friendly place.

    2 visits, 2 great experiences

This was our second visit here. We ate her last summer, and we have been wishing to come back again. It was another wonderful experience. Both times for lunch. Last summer we shared a pot of paella and a pitcher of sangria....both wonderful Yesterday, I had the shrimp w/ garlic sauce...he had the chicken espanol. Both meals we excellent, and we were more than satisfied with the value. The service was not poor, not bad...good- but not great...would definitley recommend it for a great meal at a very good price.

    Good Value

Eat here frequently as I work around the corner. The lunch special is well worth it! I opt for the $10.00 lobster. It is always excellent, with nice sides. The service is a bit slow but not rude at all. I agree that there is a bit of a language barrier, but they should not dissuade from eating there. I have never had bad food there.
