rude service
The location of cafe duke is OK,the food is not that good, the prices is little high than it should by for an open buffet, the service is realy terrible, cursing the people in another language is unacceptable,Iwas waiting for my pasta and the working man behind the counter had an argument with one of the in the sandwich place and kept cursing thinking no one understands, too bad!!

Best Value
My family went on vacation to NYC. Cafe Duke was the only restaurant we felt good about how much we paid for our meal. The food was wonderful, both for breakfast and lunch. There is a huge variety of selections from burgers and pastas to bagels and a buffet. This is a wonderful place, especially for people wanting to save some money in the Big Apple.

Mid town to SoHo
I used to work in mid town and Cafe Duke was the only place I would go for lunch. Since then I have moved and changed jobs. Now I work in SoHo, so glad to see that the Duke is down here too. Awesome.

Added sugar
Does anyone know if Duke's adds sugar to some of their buffet vegetables? The roasted veggies in particular often seem a bit unnaturally sweet. This disconcerts me because diabetes runs in my family, and I've been avoiding sugar and refined carbs for a long time now.
