Great
I'm writing this because I can't understand the poor reviews. I've been coming here for years. It always has great food, service and I love the room; the prices are reasonable, good wine list. What more can you ask for?

Never again
I have been coming here for several years, and while the service is never extraordinary, the food is generally pretty good. Today was the last time, though. First of all, their website advertised a CHOICE between prix-fix Mother's Day brunch or their normal brunch menu. However, on arrival, the prix fix was the only option at $39 with no beverage included. We waited almost 20 minutes for anyone to take our order. We waited even longer for salads. And even longer for our main course. By the time we would have ordered dessert that we didn't want anyway, it had been almost two hours. The waitress was perky but unhelpful and non-apologetic. I asked if we could just be charged the a la carte prices for our meals since we weren't sticking around for dessert, and instead she just took $7 off for each. The prix fix was a total rip off, since had we ordered the same things a la carte, they would have been less expensive. Normally I feel bad about stiffing a waiter on the tip, since often they are merely the messenger and it's the kitchen that is slow. This time, though, everyone seemed to have contributed equally to the poor dining experience.

Not recommended
We've frequented Cafe Du Soleil many times over the past few years and have always enjoyed the food and somewhat erratic service. But tonight, the place went off the rails. My wife and I thought we'd take our two young daughters out for a nice early dinner. Yet, shortly after we were seated, we seemed to turn invisible. Soups for my wife and I came out fine and in a timely manner. But 35 minutes later and the two plates of pasta and fish dish we had ordered were still nowhere to be seen and our girls were extremely hungry. All of the patrons at the tables around us all of whom were seated after us had been served their orders. But not us. When we were finally able to flag down our waiter, it was "I don't know what the holdup is. It should be out in a few minutes." Another 10 minutes and still nothing. I asked for the check and we left. The staff on duty couldn't care less. Quel dommage. Au revoir, Cafe Du Soleil.

Consistently good
We dine here frequently and have never been disappointed by the food, service, or friendliness of the staff. Reservations are honored on time. Even the bread and olive oil (for dipping) are delicious. All in all a very pleasant dining experience at reasonable prices.

Disappointing
Roast chicken came burned. And VERY over-salted. Mouth burns still. Does this "new chef" think he should brine a chicken? Salad tired, greens soft, some black. Fried potatoes very good, although "oven-roasted" was on menu. Bill was wrong--$2 more than price on menu. Waitress very nice. Might try again since close by, but I'll order very carefully, with instructions. Should this be necessary for a roast chicken and and salad? How much safer a choice can one make?

Do not order delivery from here
I really don't understand why they offer delivery if they cannot handle it. I ordered a number of times and they always take more than an hour for a burger and roast chicken. Spoke with the manager and he explained that the chicken takes half hour. So why does it take more than an hour to deliver? He doesn't know. And doesn't seem to care.

Great brunch
The food was delicious, and the staff was very attentive!! While previous reviews mention poor service, we were greeted and served with lots of friendly attention. Brunch with 4 adults and 3 kids (2, 3, & 4 years old). The waiter brought out craft paper and crayons to keep the kids occupied... And the food was very tasty. My water glass and coffee cup were refilled several times without me having to ask. I will be back for sure.
