I live right around the corner from this restaurant and I've noticed that it is always crowded on weekdays & especially weekends. I've been here for brunch & dinner several times. The staff is very friendly & helpful, albeit a bit slow when its crowded. The food is delicious, the portions are more than you expect, and the atmosphere is perfect for a date or for group dining. Would definitely come back here.

Had a great time last night. We had to wait for our table for a few minutes which wasn't so bad at all considering there was almost a line out the door. It was very crowded right around our table next to the hostess stand at the front window. But our waiter made us feel very comfortable, almost as if we were the only customers in the restaurant! Everything was perfect; the food (braised short ribs are to die for!), the wine, the recommendations. I felt like I never really had to ask my waiter for anything because he always knew what I needed. I've been here more than a few times with my husband and friends but last night really was a time to remember. I actually remember having our same waiter a few years back but haven't seen him since, until last night. I can't wait until our next visit!

We arrived 10 minutes late for our reservation but the wonderful hostess had our table waiting. Service was impeccable, and our server had a tremendous knowledge of the extensive beer selection. The food? Amazing. From the sausages to the oxtail, my group of four loved it all!

The hostess had that classic pretentious attitude towards us. She would not seat us where we requested stating it was policy not to sit two people at a four seater, which we all know is common, however when another couple arrived just minutes after, she sat them at the very table we requested. When we confronted her about this, she blamed us for not taking no for an answer. The waiter was very nice and the food was nothing special. I would never return just because of how we were treated by the hostess.

I love love love their brunch! they have fantastic pancakes that aren't too filling, and leave you satisfied. Their burger is to DIE for, great from brunch and lunch

We were looking for something "a little different" and found it here. We stopped in after the normal lunch and had everything we wanted...a casual, relaxed setting, satisfying food, nice wine (served at the right temperature) and very pleasant, efficient service. Would have rated it higher but, being the first time, wanted to reserve some room for improvement the next time we stop in - hopefully sooner than later.

I agree that this place can be a little loud sometimes, but that's generally when the restaurant is SUPER busy (i.e. 12:00 on a Sunday). Even so, this place is a social hangout, not a quaint little romantic restaurant you take a person on a first date. The staff is friendly and never pushy. I went a few weeks ago with a friend and we sat there for 2-3 hours eating, drinking and talking. For dinner, the sausages are cooked to perfection, and so is the duck breast. I didn't like the burger, though. I'd say your best bet is to get the dishes that are authentically French. As for brunch, everything is great! Not one bad dish. My fave is the croque madame (hot gruyere and ham sandwich with an egg on top). Yum! Also, the brunch drinks are great. Not too strong and very flavorful. Then again, any time you can eat breakfast food and drink at the same time is fantastic in my opinion.
