    The trout was amazing

Ordered delivery from here last night, did the fixed price option and that trout was so good. This leek sauce was out of this world. The mushroom risotto was just okay, but that could be because the food wasn't still hot when it got here. The risotto just seemed bland with too much truffle oil. But the trout dish was worth the money for all of it; I'll def be back in person or for delivery.

    UES Gem

The beer list is very impressive and they have a cask. It's the only respectable craft beer bar in the UES with the bonus of great food. The scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. Definitely a gem of the UES.

    Excellent Alsatian Dining

I stuck with the vegetarian dishes, but come back for them at least once a week. Especially exquisite are: gougeres, caprese tart flambee, farmers market salad, the french munster cheese, asparagus, mashed potatoes and creme brulee. You can also get your choice of cheese for even yummier spaetzle...

    Disappointing mussels

Very disappointed in this place. Had high expectations based on a great review by NY Magazine. At the waitresses suggestion, we ordered the mussels which less than stellar. Will not return be returning anytime soon.

Bartender with the lightest hand on the UES

Great spot for brunch in the spring. Eggs benedict are fantastic. If you're hungover and looking for a good cocktail/bloody with brunch then go somewhere else. Bartenders do not know how to make a drink unless you're into straight OJ or Tomato juice to get you through a tough morning.

    Where is the service?

Have eaten here many times in the past. brunch is fantastic. eggs benedict and the goat cheese omlette are delicious. extremely poor and unattentive service was very dissapointing. our waitress was not pleasant, did not follow up and seemed like she was doing me a favor when I requested a refill on the bottomless cup of coffee i was drinking. as good as the food is, the incredibly awful service almost ruined the meal

    Five out of five

We have enjoyed five visits to this accommodating, friendly and tasty local French spot. The tartar and cheeses are always tasty. We always find a great wine at a great price. Their prefixe choices and daily specials have always satisfied us and we always leave feeling that we spent less for more. We don't get to say that too much anymore in this town. It's a great spot with a great staff. We'll see you soon.
